Guys, I'm having trouble getting the doppler navigation working. Obviously I'm doing something wrong but can't spot it. I have followed the guide, entered the desired course and distance, but when I turn it on to start and fly, the direction doesn't indicate and the distance doesn't change. Now I might add that the "Doppler Fail" light on the co-pilot instrument panel remains on all the time - even after the five minute warm up time mentioned. So I suspect I's setting something wrong with that. Any advice/ help would be greatly appreciated. I'm using Devrim's English cockpit as well.

That would be very helpful thanks Lino. At the moment I have to refer to both your map and spreadsheet when planning my route in the Huey. Would also appreciate it if you could include a distinctive TACAN beacon marker on the map and their respective channel/ mode setting (e.g.67X) like you have for the other type of beacons with their frequencies.

I find judging distance quite hard, both inside and outside the aircraft. Additionally, I find that the same distance viewed from inside the aircraft seems different to the same distance from outside the aircraft (without any zoom in / zoom out in play). Inside the aircraft the ground and objects appear closer to me than they actually are. If I "feel" like I'm hovering at 10' feet, it might be 20'.

In addition to having your TACAN switched to the correct TACAN mode for a tanker, as discussed above, ensure your navigation system is in TACAN mode by selecting the TACAN button behind the joystick (rather than being in steer point mode or ILS mode etc.). I forget that some times.

I seemed to have that problem too, but I think it was more a matter of the updater getting stuck (stopped) during the update process. I stopped the update and then forced an update again. It did its normal checks then re-commenced the update from the point it had got stuck, but this time at a normal speed.

mmmm .... strange. Nothing updating for 1.2.6 Got an auto updater upgrade for 1.2.7 OB, followed by a 268 MB update for 1.2.7 OB,which has just crashed due to "server overload."

Hi Lino, I downloaded this some time ago - around the time the Huey first came out in Beta. List of NDB put together by a guy called Martin Renders. No claim that it is a complete or accurate list. Indeed I'm not convinced it is completely correct (frequencies etc.), but it also could be me not correctly understanding how the navigation system works on the Huey. Not exactly what you were after I know, but may get you started. If you do end up with a complete list of all NDB & VOR/ frequencies etc. could you post it here please. Martin_Renders_LOSLAMs.pdf

Hi Teviita, Unfortunately no. I still haven't been able to get it working with my GTX680 like it was with my ATI card, or find a work around either. I haven't heard form anyone else who has got it working with a GTX6XX card. Very disappointing. I really liked using this app, especially for the CDU and radio stack.

Yes, I can confirm this behaviour during the last 12 hours or so. Certainly frequently occurring throughout today while I was in the 1.2.7 ENO's FIREHOUSE server and also the AEF/161 SQN 1.2.7 server. Locking up while connecting to the master server, or frequent "connection interrupted" once connected. also getting stuck in single player when "checking for updates."

^^ This will be the true test. I'm already factoring in for either another GTX 680 (SLI) or an upgrade to a better video card, but will wait until EDGE's release to see which COA is the best for this. The level of detail around the flight line (static AC/ UCAV added now) and in the cities is just stunning. It looks to me like the colours/ lighting have been reworked some (love pic 7 for that). Nice touch with the P51D sign as well. REALLY looking forward to the release of EDGE/NTTR.

I only got around to flying the UH-1H in version 1.2.7 OB in the last couple of days and in fact, I haven't flown the Huey for quite some time. I was really quite surprised at the amount of work/ number of changers that have gone into this aircraft since 1.2.6. It flies very nicely now and the first iteration of the AI crew is amazing. I see the community has identified a number of bugs and minor glitches to iron out, which will hopefully occur before 1.2.7 release. Great work on 1.2.7 so far Team Belsimtek. You got me hooked on flying this aircraft all over again.

I will never forget or forgive what UBISOFT did to the Silent Hunter series (in particular SH V), nor what they did to IL2 CoD and the condition that was released in. I haven't bought a UBISOFT product since. Sure - one little person's silent protest - but there are a lot of little silent people out there who feel the same. Side note: I use to like playing sub sim games as much as I like highly detailed flight sim games (A.K.A. DCS), but I lost the passion after SH V was released.

I had no problem getting the virtual display working with my ATI card before I upgraded my PC. I have installed tightVNC and the demoForge driver wich seem to be working, but when I click the "Detect" button under the screen resolution, nothing at all happens. Just my main monitor is identified with no changes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've spent most of the morning trying to find a solution.

It just looks wrong and would be nice if they fixed the "sticky smoke."

A large list of some very welcome fixes and improvements, especially some of the older issues. Looking forward to seeing how the engine smoke mod works out. I was really hoping that the changes/ improvements for ATC that were first mentioned around 1.2.4 (I think) would have finally made it into this update release. I hope they still do. Also very surprised at the almost complete lack of changes (so far) for the MI-8 and Huey, especially so given they are still in Beta. As the mans said - "preliminary" Thanks for the heads up.

Are you happy with the quality/ build? can you move/ mount the keyboard/ house stand on the left side at all? (I'm a lefty) How long did it take to ship out to you from placing the order?
