Moin zusammen, derzeit werkelt in meinem Rechner noch ne alte aber bisher gute 380X. In allen Games die ich noch so spiele bin ich damit sehr zufrieden. In DCS geht's, solange man keinen TGP einschaltet oder aber die Spiegel. Fliege in 1080p und mit Track IR. Auf mittleren Settings. Da ich erst vor kurzem wieder mit DCS angefangen habe, bin ich auf die Minimalanforderungen aufmerksam geworden. 4Gb bei der GPU. Die hat ja meine 380X. Daher überlege ich ein Budget-Upgrade auf ne RX580X, die dann 8GB hätte. Dann könnte ich die DCS-Settings sicherlich auch hochschrauben (Gras, Bäume, Sichtweite etc., Auflösung bleibt bei Full HD). Evtl. würde ich auch noch meinen RAM von 16GB auf 32 GB aufrüsten, das kostet ja derzeit nicht die Welt. Was meint ihr dazu? Spielt jemand evtl. mit ner 580X bereits DCS und wie ist da das Fazit? Anonsten sind wie gesagt 16GB DDR4 verbaut, natürlich ne SSD und ein Ryzen 5 2600X auf nem Asus Prime X470Pro. Letztere und RAM hab ich erst Ende 2019 eingebaut, bleiben daher unangetastet.

I flew the A-10C and the Mirage 2000C with its ingame-HOTAS and other functions (Gear, Flaps, etc) for many years with the Saitek X-52. Now, I just started with the Hornet and the X-52. It always worked to map the HOTAS and some other Stuff for flying and fighting. I have this one since 2008 and LOMAC. The slider went off some years ago and the wheels on the throttle have some "play" now, but it still works and I just can recommend this HOTAS for FC and DCS, when you have a small budget but want a HOTAS system. Before I had TrackIR4, I also used the Coolie for the View and it worked well. But you are right, you have to to a deep dive in its mapping software. But then, its fine. Hint: I only use the mode 1 section. But I use it stand alone (mode 1), with the Pinkie Switch (Mode 1 + Pinkie) and with the clutch Button (Mode 1 + clutch). So, I have all Buttons, rotarys, wheels and coolie hats (each with 4 functions) three times without using the mode-wheel.

Da bin ich auch gespannt. Als ich gestern DCS herunter geladen und den Download für Dedicated Server gesehen habe, letzteres. Wobei ich ja die Newsletter bekomme und auch immer mal quergelesen habe. Hier im Forum eher erschrocken, wie viele neue Module und Karten es gibt. Als ich dann gestern mal in der Enzyklopädie war oder im ME gesehen hab, dass es leider nach wie vor nur 2 Fraktionen gibt, eher ersteres. Aber sind schon genug neue Dinge da und gemeckert hab ich selten über ED oder DCS. Geht auch kaum, wenn man die typischen AAA Produkte und Releases kennt. @Lino_Germany Schön, dass es dich noch gibt.

Da lass ich mich überraschen. Zum einen liegen die Module/Lizenzen halt ungenutzt rum, zum anderen möchte und werde ich Module im Wert von über hundert Euro nicht verschenken.

Fand der "Deal" hier im Forum statt oder auf einer anderen Plattform? Ich möchte den Aufwand gerne so gering wie möglich halten.

Also laut EUGh darf gebrauchte Software weiterverkauft werden, wenn der Original Datenträger vorhanden ist (keine Sicherungskopie). Nur hier gibt es ja gar keinen Datenträger mehr.

Moin zusammen, in den letzten Jahren habe ich, mit Ausnahme der WWII Flugzeuge, jedes DCS Modul erworben, um ED zu unterstützen. Tatsächlich ist es so, dass ich nur wenige Module regelmäßig nutze, einige wie z.B. den Harrier oder die Viggen bin ich nur einmal oder gar nicht geflogen. Aus zeitlichen Gründen wird sich das in den nächsten Jahren auch nicht ändern und daher habe ich vor, meine ungenutzten Module zu verkaufen und das Geld den Sparkonten meiner Kids zu Gute kommen zu lassen. Auf der DCS Homepage gibt es ja nach wie vor die Funktion zum Lizenztausch bzw. zur Prüfung, ob eine Lizenz mit einem anderen Account verknüpft ist. Ich erinnere mich jedoch grau daran, dass es zum Thema privater Weiterverkauf vor ca. 1-2 Jahren auch mal eine Änderung bzw. Diskussion gab. Wie ist denn da der aktuelle Stand der Dinge? I remember the list. Should be 7 years or so. IIRC, there also should be a new DCS DLC every 9 months or so. :D By ED, not 3rd party.

Wir hatten in der alten Staffel zwei aktive GCI Controller und die konnten einfach kein ATC. Komplett andere Welt. :D

Hi, currently we discuss VFR procedures at KLSV in our squadron. Until now, I didn't found any VFR departure/approach procedure/chart for this airbase. At airnav.com were only IFR charts. I checked today and found the "Sin City Visual" approach chart. This chart must be new, I didn't saw it before there. Are there VFR departue charts out there, as well? Or to those, who are at Nellis from the community: Do they (fighters) fly VFR at Nellis in real life? Thanks in advance. :)

You have ROE in the real world. If you don't get permission to engage, you don't engage. It isn't Top Gun.
