Hi tacno, thanks for your hint. I checked the network.cfg and there wasn't one. Only a network.vault file. As I tested LotATC some days ago I tested some other server settings (activated sensor data export and deselected object export for a few seconds) and it seems, as this deleted the network.cfg. :doh: I copied the one from my pc, activated the object export function again and it works again. :) For other UR users: The autoDIAG report said, there is a problem with the DCS.log or there isn't one.

Zum Einen haben wir getestet, u.a. Auch die diversen Chat Funktionen. Gerade wenn man alleine ist und die Frequenz voll ist, ist eine non-verbale Kommunikationsmöglichkeit Gold wert. Und ja, BRAA kann man auch senden.

Ja, es wird definitiv noch einen Test geben. Ein Termin dafür steht allerdings noch nicht fest.

Hi tacno, today we (7 pilots) had problems using UR. Yesterday in our squadron training all was fine. But today, UR didn't work at all. I also updated TS3 and UR to the latest version, without success. TS3 version: 3.1.3, QT Version 5.6.1 UR Version: 0.1.3.2LC licensed: yes DCS Version: 2.0.5.1648 (without update 2.0.5 1/2) With LotATC and ATC Desktop radio the communication works fine. But as pilot (client) in the M-2000C it didn't work at all. We didn't change anything on our clients or on our server (same DCS version, same TS3 version, same UR version as yesterday). :helpsmilie:It didn't work for nobody of us (some have different UR/TS3 version). We alle get "not connected" in the TS3 status window. But I found a file (failed.ofsh), maybe this helps. failed.zip

Thanks for this information. Is it correct, that the built-in radio feature in LotATC doesn't work anymore and I always have to use the UR ATC Radio Desk? I only get crazy frequencies in TS3, if I triy to use LotATC without the ATC Radiodesk.

Der heutige Test war sehr sinnvoll. Anbei einige Impressionen des Abends. Denn neben dem Testen wurde natürlich auch geflogen. Ich war als GCI und SAM Operator auf Red Air in Aktion. Doppelmonitor ist dabei Pflicht. Aufstellung für den Test: Red Air (1x M-2000C "Napfy", 1x SA-3) vs. Blue Force (4x M-2000C, 1x F-5E, AWACS) Ergebnis: Grand Slam Red Air - 2x blue abgechossen durch SAM - 3x blue abgeschossen durch Napfy - AWACS im Vorfeld zerstört :D

Hi Zhavok, wie schon kommentiert, war mein Beitrag nicht persönlich gemeint. Aber ich habe bisher jedes Komm Tool für DCS getestet und Installation/ Einrichtung sind bei UR einfach nicht kompliziert. Installation: - Installatuionspfad auswählen - Terrain auswählen - Installation beginnen Konfiguration: - UR in DCS installieren (bzw. checken, ob das Plugin in der Export.lua gesetzt ist; ist aber ein simpler Button im UR Control Panel) - Tastenkombis für Radios benennen - fertig Was daran kompliziert oder komplizierter als bei SRS sein soll weiß ich nicht. Wahrscheinlich Nuancen auf hohem Niveau. Ich empfehle UR auch nicht für jedermann. Es macht tatsächlich nur Sinn, wenn man die zusätzlichen Features benötigt (wobei SRS hier auch aufholt) und die Kompatibilität mit LotATC benötigt (was im Geschwader und beim Event unabdingbar ist; zum einen aufgrund des hohen Traffics beim An- und Abflug sowie im Kampf; zum anderen der Realität wegen). :)

Na wenn das kein Argument ist ... :music_whistling: Aber wenn eine Installation schon als "kompliziert" eingestuft wird (wahrscheinlich den Speicherort auswählen), dann ist der User evtl. die Grenze. Ein Wunder, dass selbiger DCS installiert bekommen. Kostenlos finde ich immer am besten. Warum auch Geld für etwas ausgeben, was viele Stunden an Arbeit gekostet hat und ihr mehrere hundert Stunden lang nutzt. Eine Schweinerei, dass DCS immer noch Geld kostet. Aber interessantes Bezahlmodell für die Wirtschaft. Würde uns dann noch wettbewerbsfähiger machen. :lol:

Nein wurde sie nicht. Aber wir sind eine deutschsprachige und überwiegend deutsche virtuelle Staffel, die auch nach dem Vorbild der Luftwaffe aufgebaut/ strukturiert ist.

Nun poste doch auch gleich mal die Früchte Deiner Arbeit. Sind schick geworden.

Hallo zusammen, aufgrund zahlreicher Herausforderungen wird die COMAO verschoben. Wir hoffen, dass wir das Event im zweiten Quartal ausrichten können. Ob das aktuelle Konzept gleich bleibt oder bereits in der ersten Runde auch andere (als bisher geplante) Muster teilnehmen werden, ist ebenfalls offen. Die Herausforderungen sind konkret: + instabiles, verbuggte DCS Nevada Version (Bugfix seitens ED undatiert) + geringere Teilnehmerzahl, als Ende letzten Jahres + aktuelle Inkompatibilität mit LotATC Ich hoffe, dass wir die Idee nach wie vor umsetzen können. Vom geplanten Realismusgrad möchte ich um den Willen einer größeren Teilnehmerzahl jedoch nicht abrücken. Es gibt bereits genug Events mit niedrigem Realismusgrad. Damit wir jedoch so wenig offene Baustellen mit in den Event nehmen wie möglich, möchte ich den gesetzten Termin (25.03., 20.00 Uhr) dennoch als Möglichkeit zum Kennenlernen und Testen anbieten. Wir werden also am Samstag Abend einen Gameserver und einen TS3 stellen, damit die registrierten Teilnehmer z.B. UniversRadio testen können aber auch andere Fragen zum Ablauf klären und testfliegen können. Beste Grüße, Fire

So, we don't get it anymore? I would use the Radio Scanner for ELINT tasks, not as ATC. Listening to enemy frequencies (which aren't secured) is a high class simulation of intelligence stuff inside DCS. It would be sad, if we couldn't use this feature anymore. :(

Sorry, but that's probably a little exaggerated. SRS is the latest radio mod, which exists for DCS. The beginning of all these was TARS, developed by Headspace in 2010. UniversRadio has been before Simple Radio, also the Aries Radio System. But in my opinion, a unique solution as a DCS dlc would be the best solution, because we wouldn't have trouble, because different groups are using different tools. It's the same issue, like using other (unit) mods. It should be developed by tacno and Ciribob, because both develop our current radio tools. Each tool has its pros and cons.

Hi tacno, what happened to the built-in AWACS radio scanner? I also didn't found the documentation on your website anymore.

Q: Is the license/ activation key also functional, if I updated LotATC?

Sad to hear. :( I remember the chaos (after beczl) and founding Leatherneck Simulations. Hope you both have the power and will to make it once again. I'm still looking forward to the Tomcat and am curious, what the "new" LNS will present us (besides the Corsair). :thumbup: Good luck to both teams!
