Its more of a product and thus less time commit and can do alot. If you are building a pit Id invest the extra effort in dcsbios and then the skies the limit.

Can be done. Helios would be option 1 I use it and a phidgets led controller for my gear lights. Alternative would be dcs-bios on an arduino board. Both are well documented but let me know if you need more detail.

I got my view-changing issue resolved. It was not srss bug at all, sorry!! I use viice attack and there was overlap of the ptt keys, so activating the radios ptt also activated vac, and then it was listening to whatever I said and pressing keys on me which was usually an F key and the view changed. So totally my fault. Amazing project, thanks!

If you enjoy depth of simulation the A-10C module is second to none at the moment. Its been so for long enough to have great commincity support including missions. Value propisition is great so i reocmmend buying it. Seasonal sales make it a no brainer if you choose to wait. F-18 will probably ovetake it in a few years due to mass appeal... but the masses are wrong ;). Warthog for life!

Tac23-24 csar mission? If so, I recently completed them without needing to engage infantry. Possibly missing a radio call triggers an ambush? Embrace tacview to decide failed missions.

Trees are not the issue. The helo is falling into a trap, set due to lack of proper case authentication. Monitor guard frequency until you hear the pilot say he has arrived at Arco then follow the comms menu with him through the entire process. It's like 10 radio calls and responses. Once that's complete, the helos will survive. I posted my run here Good luck

Srs causing view changes? I have a complex setup with many USB devices, auto hot key scripts, dwvac. But when I fly with srs on, I get a weird symptom where when I hold a ptt button for more than 3 seconds, my in game view changes to f10 map view. I can change the configuration of my stuff to deconflict but I don't even know where to start understanding what are is doing that's conflicting. Does it bind any key or joystick buttons? Change any DCs control configurations? Simulate any keystrokes? Could an srs setting be involved? Would love to get this stable as it's an AMAZING product.

Hope Im not way off... but a range retical makes no sense in ccip mode. Ccrp has tange reticals to indicate when to release, but ccip is computed impact point of a release at that moment.

I struggle with this bigtime. Ive been flying sims for tens of years. Last six very seriously. Its getting a but better for me but it just takes so much work and practice. I drive with an iPhone app called spyglass for extra curricular practice :)

Lighting is fixed in beta. I havent noticed anything blurry but I have an unisual setup. Others are reporting still blurry in some configurations but not others. Aliasing may be involved.

I think youll need to be more specific. A countermeasure profile? Dsms? Hotas? Input curves? Trackir? Lota of profiles so what kind are you looking for?

Ive never edit a mission in my life. Is there a chance you need to send it from a jtac? Instead of trying to figure out how to fake out the a-10, could you just script the real world action that would result in that message?

So yah, Im an idiot. I was flying without my uhf in “both” mode, so missing the radio calls on guard. Once I heard those the mission made sense and I passed it. Youtube link coming soon.

I noticed that behavior if he is out of the requsted munition or cant acquire the right type of target. Could that possibly be involved?

Is csar authentication supposed to be an option under f10 on uhf after he goes down? I havent seen it but definitely will recheck as I may have missed it. That would explain alot too. That as a set trap makes alot of sense! Cant wait to have tome to try it again.

O-fer-five in TAC24 after generally being very successful. Finally resorted to "cheating" and opened tacview for postflight debrief. Several issues with this that I can see: - No comms on guard after his bailout call. How am I to know where the pilot goes down without these? Also zero comms from the CSAR helos. This mission feels like extremely close support and timing are required, but without any radio calls I feel like this is pretty unrealistic as an objective. - In tacview, he goes down north of the crest of the hill, but the helos, land at arco. So even if I knew where he was, I'd be in the wrong spot. - Even though I clear out the area before they land, the moment they touch down, SA9 and a few other units magically appear and instantly down one of the helos. Mission fail. I don't see any tactic which would avoid this. Is this a bug? Am I borking the mission somehow? Please help I'm so close to completing this awesome campaign! Sadly, use brute force. Ie takeoff safely and ignore atc. Takeoff clearance is glitchy. Ai will figure themselves out eventually. Not ideal but overall these missions are still fantastic imo..

Deleting options.lua may have other consequences. Id auggest just fixing it by hand. If you change horizontal or vertical resolution make sure to change aspect ratio accordingly (h/v).

I just finished that one. Pretty lucky I think I was! Once on station I cleared my flight ai go emgage AIr Defenses. Ince that was done We worked together to clear attackers moving in in the pilot which was just like other missions.

Helios editor has a menu function to adjust profiles for your monitor layout. Most arent rocket science either ao dont hesitate to move stuff around yourself.
