SMEs are hard to come by it seems, my guess is that they don't have one for F-16.
-
Well they are planing to add boom and basket psychics so I guess it wont be easier. It is beneficial for users to adjust or tune pitch and roll axis so they can fly formation easy, and lots of practice and patience. But in my opinion if you make some easy basket mode how can it help you master AAR? It will just keep you on that lvl and you wont ever turn that easy mode off. Cause as soon as you turn it off you'll see that you cant keep up with it cause you haven't ever tried it the normal way. You can simulate easy mode AAR by not hooking up, and just flying under the tanker, keeping formation. Then when you feel ready try to hook up. Hope this helps.

Heh what else than bad news

One more with the tone but I'm not sure what year is this etc... our F-16 is cca 2007.

correct as is AOA indicator with Weight on Wheels showing wrong?
Furiz replied to Furiz's topic in Bugs and Problems
First and third video look like they are from the same jet cause of that AL on the top left, so I guess HAF, we need USAF block 50, not block52+. Second video is uploaded 2006, I don't know how many years before it was taken to be allowed to be put up in 2006. Might be few might be more than few I have a video uploaded 2009, take away few years or even more than few and your closer to our version: -
correct as is AOA indicator with Weight on Wheels showing wrong?
Furiz replied to Furiz's topic in Bugs and Problems
Wait @BIGNEWY, so we have AOA indictaor with weight on wheels from Desert Storm so that's 1990 - 1991, and other newer videos are just gonna get dismissed cause why? First video has most likely AN/APG-66 radar so that is earlier than our Viper with AN/APG-68, so there was a change in between desert storm and our Viper that is cca 2007 right? How do you see it as correct as is then? -
Best I have is this guy, starts playing with radar at 06:38 EDIT: maybe if there was a target at 60 miles it would detect, its not shown in this video if there is something there or not. Maybe there was a target at 60-70 miles out but it didn't see it... we don't know

That's not the real issue here, its the other way around, but that's whole another psychology problem which needs people educated in the subject to say a few words here. Anyway, I'd love to see female models being added, if fact I'd probably use them if we had the option of selecting female or male pilot model.

correct as is AOA indicator with Weight on Wheels showing wrong?
Furiz replied to Furiz's topic in Bugs and Problems
This one is from the Desert Storm, same as we have AOA represented now. Older block I guess. -
This is the only CCRP drop video I could find for now, the pilot was spot on but the symbology is interesting it doesn't have 2 solution cue lines dropping down the CCRP line and I can't see the horizontal line that goes up when TOSS Bombing is performed to give you that selected angle you need to point your flight path marker at (probably can't see it due to video quality). It only has one solution cue line appearing when the Reticle appears. We currently have 2 solution cues when using CCRP. Altho this video is, I believe, from desert storm.

correct as-is Can't get NCTR to work until within about 5nm
Furiz replied to imacken's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
@imacken Target needs to be pointing at you or away from you 30 degrees of azimuth and elevation, NCTR is conducted by radar reflection of turbine blades. P.S. I didn't try it since the latest patch. -

Another one: -
Off course, this is just a wish, and that's why I said if it would be possible in the future
-
Yes, added paid upgrade off course.
-
If it would be possible in the future, like with the A10 and Black Shark upgrades, I'd love to see Tape upgrade to for the F-16, which would bring more capabilities. Off course paid upgrade. from: https://www.f-16.net/f-16_versions_article2.html M5.1 tape Integration of capability for stand-off weapons (AGM-154) Introduction of more advanced A/G weapons (EGBU-12) Introduction of advanced Stores Management System and Joint Mission Planning System Introduction of an improved GPS/INS system (more accurate and jamming proof) Introduction of new Link-16 message standards to improve interoperability between different aircraft types Installation of AN/ARC-210 VHF radios to enable radio contact with FAC’s on the ground M5.2 tape "Clean-up" tape (intended as correction to imperfections found in earlier phases) Maybe even M6 tape. M6 tape M6.1 tape Improved IFF system (Mode 5 waveform with better distinction between friendly and enemy aircraft) Introduction of AIM-120D missile (two-way datalink, improved navigation and High-Angle Off-Boresight capabilities, a doubled range) Introduction of more advanced A/G weapons (GBU-39 SDB, GBU-54 LJDAM) Integration of improved Link-16 functions with net-centric capability Integration of a new Universal Armament Interface to standardize communication between the aircraft and the weapons, illuminating the need for new OPF tapes with every new weapon system M6.2 tape "Clean-up" tape (intended as correction to imperfections found in earlier phases) Included minor updates like Auto GCAS capability nearly eliminating Controlled Flight Into Terrain (CFIT) accidents, a leading cause of F-16 loss of pilot and aircraft accidents.

Hi, this is not the forum section for that, Other than in description of the video you linked I used Google, typed "SU-30 mod" and it just popped out:
-
I see no warnings in MP servers from SAM.
-
Hi, can you make a short track of the problems you are having and post it in the bugs section for F-16? I don't have problems you mentioned, we might be able to help once we see the track. In regards for missions F-16 has, official missions are about 6 or 7 and no official campaign which is disappointing since Hornet has more than 20 official missions and Official Campaign. ED said there is no plans for Official Campaign for F-16.

Ah no mention on when will EA finish, we will have to be patient I guess.

It is planned, you can check the roadmap here:

need track replay HTS Not Detecting Strategic SAMs
Furiz replied to jack varus's topic in Bugs and Problems
@jack varus Hi, It is working fine here, I don't know how much time was given to find the emitters but HTS needs some time if all emitter classes are selected, so I'd suggest, to make that time shorter, on HAD page press THRT then deselect ALL and only select CLASS 2, that will search for SA-2, SA-3, SA6 and few more and it should find them quick, given that they are active. Also be sure you have done proper alignment of the INS so the aircraft knows where it is in space-time. Do STOR HDG or Normal alignment, if you do Normal make sure you confirmed the coordinates. See manual. If you still have trouble post a short track so we can see whats up. -
They just tagged it with not planned... kinda hoped for it since F/A-18C has one.
-
You can do it on the ground, but it is better if you do it in the air since you can get an object further away and it will boresight more accurately.
