  1. While devs are on it, can they also fix "if one valve off/both engines working" bug?
  2. Care to share what is your solution? Are you really saying that you are, at this point, surprised by the range of ATGMs, which had be known even before DCS Mi-24 was released?
  3. Nope, those are missing. Also, if you close just one fuel switch, both engines will continue to work.
  4. My bad, that's the case when rearming. AFAIK, if you have R-60 active and Petrovich on hold fire mode, you can't fire ATGMs.. He can fire fine in free fire mode. So, if it's an air target, you can fire both ATGM and R-60 at the same time. TBH, I haven't used R-60s after that mission, so didn't test further. OP, try to do full repair.
  5. That's the point, I can't see your track. For some reason my DCS is not seeing it at all. You need to switch them off BEFORE using ATGMs. If left on, they will come back, but it takes a long time.
  6. Are you flying on stable? Your track is not showing for my DCS. You need to switch off R-60s before using ATGM and then turn them on again.
  7. Hi. It would be appreciated if devs could implement reverse of "prepare weapons" (at least to turn off Raduga sight part) command from pilot seat to Petrovich. Reason is that sometimes we forget to tell him to close Raduga sight before we start evading and it is possible to topple gyros. While we can jump in front seat and shut it down, I have found out that flying at really high elevations it is impossible for Petrovich to maintain flight. Thanks
  8. Good idea. Are you gonna post it in Wishes or you want me to do it?
  9. I believe you can only use comands for your own position. So, if DCS does not have a binding in Mi-24 pilot tab for that, even if keybind is the same, it will trigger action for pilot position.
  10. And to do so, you need to switch to front seat. You can then issue prepare weapons comand again after time is up from back seat. One note though, if you are flying high in the mountains, it's best that you take control of the helicopter the moment you switch to front seat. Let's say that Petro is less than capable flyer when high.
  11. I think he meant that any AI (ground) unit is red so it's free fire (although with him you might never know, he posted bunch of "bugs" that were actually his error).
  12. If it's rolling, you need to tell him to close sight before you roll. Sometimes he can't be quick enough and will mess up the gyros. But your remark about wondering crosshair is more consistent with him losing LOS momentarily. Are targets behind any structures or trees?
  13. Once again, remove all mods, make a mission with air start, post track
  14. Maybe next time record a track with vanilla DCS? AKA no mods? And try to make your own mission where you are in the air, ready to engage, so we don't have to waste time watching you wiggle around the cockpit? For the record, Petrovich works for me, both in SP and MP. Every time I'm within constraints and LOS to target is clear, he fires.
  15. No, it does not matter. His Ch 0 is set to 50. You can have all channels set at the same freq (I don't know how it works IRL). As long as your channel is the same freq as transmiting unit, you're fine.
  16. You need to select 828 on ICS panel and return 828 COMPASS switch back to comm.
  17. No, it doesn't work that way. You can't make it transmit text-to-speech, you have to select a file. It has to be either .ogg or .wav type of file. Take another look at that video at 1 minute mark.
  18. It looks like you did not select anything to be transmited
  19. Fair enough. Good luck with figuring it out
  20. I made my own with PC webcam, baseball hat and 3 white LEDs. It cost me around 30 bucks (25 of those for webcam).
  21. Flying or just taking off? For take off, make sure to release parking brake. Be carefull, it will try to roll on you when light on wheels. After take off use your trim release and use it a lot. For landing, take your time during approach. Depending on your weight, be prepared to use a lot of right pedal. For the time, leave yaw AP channel off.
  22. I just tested an old mission I have created. What modulation did you put? Screenshot editor for that particular unit, showing how you set it up.
  23. Yes, I have the same. Why are you flying with yaw AP in the first place? Since we don't have bindings for microswitches, it only works as a heading hold. Hip is stable enough to fly without it.
  24. Actually no, yaw channel works with a position where you engaged it. Push left/right pedal before engaging and check yourself. I'm not sure how all this is implemented, because Mi-8 SCAS/AP is designed with flight engineer inputs in mind. I just never use yaw channel, Mi-8 is quite stable bird.
