  1. I just tested an old mission I have created. What modulation did you put? Screenshot editor for that particular unit, showing how you set it up.
  2. Yes, I have the same. Why are you flying with yaw AP in the first place? Since we don't have bindings for microswitches, it only works as a heading hold. Hip is stable enough to fly without it.
  3. Actually no, yaw channel works with a position where you engaged it. Push left/right pedal before engaging and check yourself. I'm not sure how all this is implemented, because Mi-8 SCAS/AP is designed with flight engineer inputs in mind. I just never use yaw channel, Mi-8 is quite stable bird.
  4. Not really. Difference between 8 and 24 is that trim release does nothing to the AP in Mi-8.
  5. Reason we don't have them and don't quite need them is flight engineer doing his stuff and twisting knobs as needed.
  6. You might want to check your attitude. People are trying to help you here, even though this has been asked more than once. And before you ask, I fly VKB GF3 without springs (actually I have #10 spring per axis to keep my MCGU on extension to fall over). If you don't like answers, stop being lazy and go through already existing threads in search for your answers.
  7. You might want to look for existing threads here. We have gone over this exact topic multiple times already. There you will find the more detailed explanations of why you want to keep trimming even with your setup.
  8. Probably some corupted file. Run full repair.
  9. In my test, I kept all those switches down (sight is OFF), Petrovich was able to find targets, I was able to select target, when I positioned helicopter I would get tone and I was able to tell Petrovich to fire
  10. Post track file, on my end it makes no difference where those switches are
  11. No, those switches affect only pilot side sight, they have no effect on CPG and Raduga. Stratos, yeah, it sounds stupid, but did you check bindings?
  12. I'm starting to get issues with my twist grip. Whenever I turn off my PC it will mess up calibration. It's mostly minimum range, but occasionaly max range would be off (it's either one, never both at the same time). All other axes holding steady. Once I do calibration, everthing holds until I shut down my PC.
  13. Are you flying MT version? Mi-24 has same issue, but in ST it works as it should
  14. Track would be best. My guess is that he is not using trim release in a way that makes autopilot actually help you For yaw AP channel you have 3 options: - keep the channel OFF - bind a switch that will disable heading hold and leave AP in dampening mode - use 3rd party program to toggle button(default key Y) as an above switch
  15. Joystick Gremlin
  16. I tried the same with my MFGs, but it gets annoying after some time. I even tried to reverse axis so microswitch deactivates if I press pedals, but that's not satisfactory either. And TBH only time I need heading hold is during route flying, which I deal with by trimming helicopter out before I engage route mode.
  17. You need to translate and rotate your head at the same time. If you look at lens and circles move right, you need to keep looking at it while leaning to the left until circles are back in center. Do a VR recenter, boresight (while contorting yourself to do it) and then go back to your normal sitting position. System is capable of following your head throughout cockpit.
  18. You obviously missed his previous "bug" threads
  19. I can't remember exact cargo and I can't find that old mission. Let me comb through files Edited to add: found it, it turns out it's mod cargo. I was certain it was vanilla DCS cargo. Disregard.
  20. Antennae cargo was never fixed. It would actively jump and kill you.
  21. 1 means that your CPG has control over rockets. 2 means that when you WAS weapons, those options in the circle will be gone. If you need it any easier that this, maybe Apache is not for you.
  22. You might want to check attitude. You constantly come here to ask questions that are, to be polite, on basic level of understanding Apache. You have already been told to WAS rockets (USE WEAPON ACTION SWITCH), not select them on weapons page.
  23. This is the first I hear about this.
  24. As long as you don't have stutters, 35 FPS is fine. Anything above 24 FPS brain sees as a smooth movie. Yes, it sucks that clouds have that much impact on FPS. Could ED make them better? I don't know, I'm not a programer.
