  1. It's an ASE warning. To disable, go to Weapons>ASE>Util>Autopage and select off.

  4. I had collective on a slider on my old joystick.
  5. Before start, everything would be quiet, so you would just tell them to connect GP. Once your engines are running, they can't hear you talking. Switch to ICS and they will disconnect.

  10. First map is plain Jeppesen, second one is 35 years old Yugoslavian army map. Same area Army map is still more relevant for VFR flying. Maps we have as a moving map are even worse than Jep map for VFR. F10 map is army map. Link?
  11. It is nice to use, but I would still prefer to have F10 map sheets as a moving map. Right now, with combat flying and doppler drift, after some time I can get a general fix, but F10 sheet would allow me to get exact fix on both scales.
  12. It does looks nice in Gaz. Problem with Hind is how periscope is positioned in the cockpit. It could get uncomfortable real fast.

  15. No, what I mean are you sure that DCS sees full travel of your collective. This seems like double binding or oversensitive axis. Is Huey only helicopter you have problems with?
  16. Problem with your case is that power required will depend on a lot of factors (weight, temp, altitude). Are you sure you have full travel available?

  18. George is even worse pilot than he is as CPG. If hovering, I find it easier to have control in front seat, get into hover, activate hold mode and then blast off. Also makes it a lot easier to scoot if someone starts shooting at me. Forward flight (which makes more sense) provides more challenges to "do-it-all-yourself".

  21. TR has plenty of authority. Are you sure you are not overweight for conditions?
  22. Hind hovers nose high. To be able to fire, nose has to be pointed at your target. Human pilot can dip the nose for you, AI not so much
  23. Your CPG should have his ACQ source set to PHS. He just needs to slave TADS and it will point were you are looking. But, you can't look away until he deslaves TADS
  24. If you are using buttons (instead of axis) to move TADS, at first it moves slowly then rate of movement speeds up. That slider sets how much that "speed up" is.
  25. Ah, OK, I get it now. I don't use that button. When you start boresighting procedure, cursor will automatically position itself so you can just use cursor depress on your collective.
