sniperwolfpk5 Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Belsimtek is not ED. ED is introducing their own ideal multiseat with the L-39 which will have multiplayer compatibility, something the UH-1H doesn't have. Yes UH-1H multiseat is not compatible but we will see it once ED introduce multiseat. Same thing goes for Hawk. We will see 2nd seat in future. Win10, Intel 3rd Gen. Core i7 3.8Ghz, 20GB ram, Nvidia Geforce 1060 6GB Opentrack (Download it from HERE), PS3 Eye, Saitek x52-pro Joystick, DIY Rudder Pedals, Google Cardboard with DCS World English is not my native language
Flagrum Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Not sure, but it seems there might be a misunderstanding about the term "multi seat" here. In DCS it is used to describe multiplayer capability for aircraft with more than one crew station. And this is a feature that ED has to implement in the DCS core (network stuff and so on) to be usable for any aircraft. The Huey and Hip have multiple crew stations, but atm only one player can occupy those (one at a time). When ED has implemented the feature, those helos, and also the upcoming multi-seat jets, should be able to host multiple players in the different crew stations at the same time (i.e. several people flying in the same aircraft).
Zakatak Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 From the FSX version, but I imagine it'll apply to the DCS. 1

McBlemmen Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 I'm not really paying attention to this project becouse i don't want to get excited long before release becouse that sucks , but these screenshots look stunning 1
FlyingHighAU Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 The only thing which bother me are the clouds. Right now they are too much blurry I believe that is because DCSWorld 2 or EDGE has a new graphics engine, which uses a Depth of Field Blur visual effect, to mimic the eye focusing on a specific point. If the view was slightly change I think the clouds would be focused and the mirage would be blurred. is this still expected in 2015?
Airbuster Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Damn, as looking at these screenshots, it's really hard to go back to DCS 1.2.14 now...

Yeah i heard they are using DOF effect but i hope we have the option to use only for videos. I think so they will release in 2015 as there is not much activity regarding release etc. Win10, Intel 3rd Gen. Depth of Field is only going to be used in a screenshot tool, not in game. The clouds are just a wip, hopefuly they'll add more definition to them.
