To be honest, I'd rather like a fixed-wing after A-10C, so the Apache and Hind can be released when the engine has evolved to a state where it has collideable vegetation.

There are many people on this forum, who'd love to have an F/A-18 in the game. And if ED/TFC have a contract for the F-18, that would be really awesome.

There is no confirmed flyable yet for DCS after the A-10C.

I hope that the ground vegetation in that video will not be the final version... I would like better no ground vegetation then which disappear from the camera after a few meters.:music_whistling: No offend, I really like what I see otherwise.;)

Yes - For the Battle SIM though, not DCS ;)

We can still hope that it makes it into DCS :)

IMHO it would be good enough if lasing targets for teammates was implemented even better than it is in BlackShark, maybe with AI-groundunits being able to paint targets.

But looking at the video, I'm tempted to say that probably the AH-64A will make it in the game before the F/A-18. An Apache lasing targets for A-10s or vice versa would definitely improve teamwork and gameplay, whereas the F/A-18 is probably a good step from ground-pounding to air-to-air-scenarios.

*Fingerscrossed* that ED can land some contracts with the military at ITSEC. :) Even if that may delay current projects.

Its the military version. The civilian stuff always lags behind the military technology by 10years. So you can expect those super graphics to reach the pc in 10years. By then, the virtual world you fly in will also be round instead of flat. :D

On their website they also reveal a AC-130 module in the works, so the guy in the other forum wasn't wrong at all.

It's great news. This has a lot in common with Steel Beasts (the mechanized combat sim) where the consumer versions rides alongside the military version getting more features over time implemented in the consumer version from the mil version.

PPl please, your enthusiasm is honourable, but keep it real! The AC-130 module for the military simulates just the FLIR station, IIRC, and it was said in the past that there were no plans to make this available to the public.

No that wasn't what I said either. The website just has the announcement about the AC-130, that's all.

It's just great that DCS might benefit greatly from the TBS development, that all. And that's all real, sobek. ;)

Not really. Of course the military has the money to have several PCs running the simulation-software, but in this case the graphics are 1:1 those presented in the screenshots a few weeks ago, including the grass and the reworked haze:

Really!? Kind of insane, I thought China was beginning to loosen up a bit, with all the fuzz around the olympics and stuff.. To bad.

Allthough I'm confedent that is not the problem I experience myself, as I live in Norway.

Youtube also suggests I might have javascript disabeled, allthough I don't think that is the case, how can I tell, and in wich case where do I turn it on??? :helpsmilie:

It may also be your antivirus software. I have Norton AV on my laptop, which doesn't let me view YouTube videos. It gives the same error message you're encountering, so you might have a similar problem. Try and access it with your AV turned off if you can't get it working (don't forget to switch it back on!:)).
