Sorry, not sure if this is a bug or I'm being an idiot. I have assigned the tower freq for Neuruppin on the CWG map to Ch1 on the radio in the ME. When I use the PTT button to open up the radio menu whilst flying in the vicinity of Neuruppin, it does not appear as one of the aerodrome options. I cannot figure out why? I have Ch0 set to Templin, and that one works fine if I have easy communication deselected. But if I have easy comms on, then for some reason it too does not appear in the radio menu from the available list of aerodromes. Any ideas? Cheers

Have tried this a few times now and it seems pretty consistent. In mission editor I can hit targets nearly dead on accurate using CCIP with bombs and the CCIP marker is visibly responsive as expected. However, when I try the same thing in a multiplayer server, the CCIP symbology seems a lot less responsive to aircraft movements and the bombs are way off from where the marker is. Pre-designation doesn't seem to make a big difference. Guns and rockets seem to work as expected in both. In the Mission Editor gameplay, I start with the plane in the air. In Multiplayer, I've started both cold and hot starts but seem to have no accuracy with the bombs. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

As title really - under what circumstnaces are the TCN and ILS options not availbe on the left hand side of the HSI so I can box them and make them visible on my HUD? I don't player super regularlly so it's obvious I've potentially missed something on manual startup, but everything else was working file. I could still input TCN frequences and see the elements on the HSI display itself, but I didn't have the option to put them on my hud... What step did I miss? Cheers in advance, Roy

Do you guys see that all the harpoons always smash the water after acquiring target? Is it reported? Is it just me? Thanks.

If I have no targets designated and I turn my head and look at one with the reticle then TDC designate it, the dashed diamond appears on it, but it doesn’t stay there. It drifts away so that by the time I turn toward it, it is way off target. I tried hitting TDC designate again just in case but it did nothing. What am I doing wrong? I did it while following along with Wags’ video. v6, boNes

Does this happen to anyone else? You STT a target, shoot, and immediately missile gets trashed while target doesn’t do any evading that would cause a lock being dumped. There is no reason, that I can tell, would cause this. Sometimes it happens with AMRAAMs as well. Shoot, immediate target lost. [emoji2373] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I have been flying on the Hoggit training server and when I set up a wp and designate that waypoint, I get the tadpole in the hud but not the wp number or distance to the wp. What am I missing?

I just noticed the gun pipper being incredibly jittery during an MP dofight session. Did this bug come bug?

I have no issues adjusting tilt in RWS mode but when I switch to TWS mode, I can’t change the radar tilt. I always run the radar at 40 degrees, 40NM, 4B. I have to adjust the tilt for a target(s) while in RWS mode, and then switch back to TWS to engage multiple targets. If the targets climb or descend outside of the tilt range, I have to switch back to RWS to adjust the tilt and then back to TWS. Obviously not a great way to fight so I’m close to giving up on TWS. Since my tilt controls work fine in RWS, I know it’s not a HOTAS programming issue. Help please?

Hi, Question to DCS OpenBeta F16 module. I can't get AI wingman to listen to my commands at all. I know I'm using correct frequency on COM2 since he gives me mud spike calls and contact calls etc. 1. I have easy communications turned OFF. 2. I'm tuned into correct frequency (assumption since I can hear his calls) 3. I know I'm using VHF radio since when I use rctrl+\ and then choose a command, the VHF frequency get's highlighted on DED. Is it just broken in Open Beta (or maybe at all).? BTW. Other communication (ATC, tanker) works fine.

Today I decided to spend some time playing with TGP and JDAMs. Made a mission were I start in the air (if that's important), placed some practice target vehicles and added WPTs at the target's positions. As I switched to A/G and put TGP screen on I noticed some weird behaviour - the TGP camera was constantly drifiting slowly in one direction. It should initialy stay on a selected steerpoint, shouldn't it?. Only when I command TMS Up or RIght I get a lock and can start moving it around. After I push CZ the drift starts over again. Two more pieces of information: - deadzones on my RDR CRS are set correctly so that's not it, - during drift the TGP coordinates in top left don't change at all, as it was locked in one place all the time. I'm not puting this in the bug section yet because I haven't had a chance to play a lot with DCS lately so maybe I'm missing something.

I was doing some air to ground practice in a mission today and was maybe lets say being a bit "ham handed" & unsympathetic to the poor old jet, ( Piling on the G's in the turns when loaded ect) firstly I noticed that it was becoming somewhat unresponsive - I had to really be slow and steady with the controls. Carried out another dive bomb attack and when rolling out aquire the target,. the jet was all over the place...then there was bang and the wing came off!!!! When the jet first started feeling "not normal" 5 minutes previously, I did wonder if anything was wrong, but could see no cautions etc... So is it modelled that the jet can be damaged by insensitive handling in this situation? and why no warnings? I would have thought the FCS would step in etc and you would at least get some cautions etc? I have many hours in the jet and never had anything like this happen before so am curious ? Random failures is off as well..... Thanks

Hi all, I've jumped back in the 16C after a long hiatus, and I'm trying to understant the AG radar modes. Smooth sailing so far, save for this little problem: there seems to always be a (quite large) offset between real and radar-given object positions. See for instance the image below, where I initially slew the radar to the target, sent the FTT to the TGP then corrected until the TGP was actually on the target. There's a significant difference between where both sensors think that the target is (and the TGP is right). I've tried to use CZ on both the pod and the radar, to no avail. Is there a way to correct this offset for TGP-free, radar-only weapon delivery? Thanks !

when i lock a target and then i ullock the target, the radar antenna remains blocked, even if i move remains in the last range target, to unlock it you have to go to dogfight mode and then return to rws, is someone else having this bug? I on bluflag always happens to me every time

Can not get Mav-F to fire over 3 miles range from target. Target is locked/tracking, get in range que, still won't fire until 3mi or less, by then it's a kamikaze attack.

Hey Guys, Just wondering if there was a way to change the brightness contrast of DL13 when using the AGM-84H SLAM-ER. I was trying to hit some ground targets before and it's just completely green, nothing distinguishable at all, from 15miles to 0miles. Thank you!

First of all I love the F-16 F-16/F-18 are my favorite planes Anyway I Digress Probably Operator Error but I launch JDAMS at the Top of the LAR Do I have to wait a little longer til the caret is at the middle of the LAR for a shack Thanks Lucky

I did a couple of simple simulations tonight. Just a Hornet with a couple AIM-9's and four AGM-65F's. My targets were a TU-95 and a Russian Corvette. I had my A/A radar in RWS and I was close behind the Bear, but I could not see him on radar. I had my elevation looking straight ahead and range at 20. But I could not see him on radar. I got within a couple miles and I could see him, but still nothing on radar. I had tried this with a MiG-21 earlier and had the same problem so I thought I'd try a larger aircraft, but got the same results with the Bear. What am I doing wrong? Should I not be able to see an aircraft as large as a TU-95 in RWS?

I've been experiencing some pitch instability with the Hornet, and it seems like it might be worse at higher altitudes like 15k and higher. It'll pitch up a little, then a few seconds later it'll pitch down some. Is it something I've set wrong in the aircraft configuration? A problem with my joystick? Thanks, Dave

I'm having trouble with my TPOD video feed recently. Check out the below screenshots. I'm only 2nm from a massive ship which I can clearly see with my eyeballs. However the TPOD CCD image is unusable. I've twised the brightness and contrast all around but the screenshot below is the best image I could get . Any tips? Here's what it looks like with flir
