Ended up learning history because of DCS, Thanks Eagle Dynamics! got into this story after I found the Erebuni livery, for the mig-29s, and was wondering why there is a name and a medal on the airplane. Some research and here is a video, did some editing and camera work in the Mission editor and to create the crash/SAR vehicles. He was awarded the Hero of Russian Federation for steering his damaged plane away from a village as the jet failed due to an unknown (technical) issue. > Whats interesting is his home town is about 20km from Beslan on the Caucases map maybe @BIGNEWY can ask if something can be added there maybe a permanent static mig-29 - link to his home town is at the 4:30 time stamp in the video. Fly safe everyone, see you in the sky!

Hi Reflected, I just wanted put the bug in your ear for a future mission project (probably 2027/8). With the coming of the FF F-15C, Mig-29A, and C-130, I think that you are the man for the job to re-create the Eagle/Fulcrum engagement from the movie "Air Force One". I am a huge fan of your missions and campaigns. I think you would bring the right skills, dedication, and flair to a project like this.

I noticed some time ago that the canopy ejection on aircraft is usually incorrect. It ejects upwards/forward rather than backwards out of the way. The result in DCS is in most cases that the canopy blown away would hit/ nearly miss the pilot getting out. It seems all aircraft in DCS have the exact same ejection pattern. I know it's nit-picking but an important detail in my opinion. On Youtube are good examples how the Canopy ejection should look like : Mig-29 0:45, F-18 0:31 DCS - Pilot got killed by own canopy.mp4 Canopy ejection wrong.trk Canopy ejection wrong 3.trk

hello, good afternoon or evening, this time I will be brief and short in this forum, currently there is a bug in which the directions of the parts of the textures of the cabin of the mig-29 are badly placed, which are the kind of hud gyroscopes, a small notepad on the right side and on the radio frequency change knob of the mig-29 (all versions of this), then I will leave the captures that I take in model-viewer, but they happen both in e model-viewer and inside the simulator

Hi! I am a new player and I am wondering what module I should get. Because It is cheap, I will only be getting one of the FC3 aircraft (A10A, F15, Su27/J11, Su33 and Mig29). I have created a poll as to which aircraft I should buy and could I ask you why you chose that option in the discussion below. Thanks!

A Roarrrrrring Gooooood mooooorniiiiing DCS and especially MiG-21 maniacs! Plesase support me on these wisch: MiG-21bis that we have in DCS is equipped in RSBN/PRMG nav system. As we know the system is mobile - it's installed on URAL trucks and can be moved to a random location by road / offroad. So my wisch would be "To have a mobile RSBN/PRMG system for MiG-21bis, L-39C / L-39ZA Albatros, Mi-24, MiG-29, Su25, Su27 in DCS!" These way t-offs and landings would be possible from random locations - even in heavy weather conditions. As we know Warsaw Pact Pilots used to systematically practice such operations. I would be more than happy having a possibility to recreate it in DCS Virtual World. With my best regards. 303_Kermit

After seeing a VFC-13 livery for the MiG-29S on the User Files, I decided to see what a USAF clean-sheet 4.5 generation replacement for the F-16 might look like if it was a twin-engine design (unlikely, but possible). So I present the Bell/Boeing F-29A Kingcobra II, a 4.5 generation single seat, twin engine lightweight fighter for the USAF. If I can get hold of a suitable cockpit for this thing, I will make it available for download, but until then it will remain private. F-29A Kingcobra II Specifications: Crew: 1 Length: 17.32 m (56 ft 10 in) Wingspan: 11.36 m (37 ft 3 in) Height: 4.73 m (15 ft 6 in) Wing area: 38 m2 (410 sq ft) Empty weight: 11,000 kg (24,251 lb) Gross weight: 14,900 kg (32,849 lb) Max takeoff weight: 18,000 kg (39,683 lb) Fuel capacity: 3,500 kg (7,716 lb) internal Powerplant: 2 GE F424-100 Adaptive Turbofans (16,000lbf thrust dry, 29,000lbf thrust with afterburner) Armament: 7 pylons for up to 14 AIM-120 or AIM-9 air to air missiles, 20mm M61A2 Vulcan with 578 rounds Max Speed: Mach 2.5 Service Ceiling: 70,000ft Range: 1000 miles G Limit: 9 Thanks to Wyvern for the USAF Have Glass livery.

I have made a cockpit livery for the MiG-29 yet I cant seem to make it work for the special selection menu. The only way I can get it to work is to get the FC3 pack module and select my livery under those special options. Below are pictures attached to show my issue With the FC3 MiG-23 Modules special options page With the Flaming Cliffs 3 special page options

Like the Title says the HUDs of FC3 aircraft are blurry and ivery hard visible when the new DLSS/DLAA is turned on blurry HUD on FC3 aircraft.trk

Basically what the title says: FC3 aircraft can't communicate with JTACs to make it lase a ground target. The only alternative is to use a scripted one

Ukrainian air force Mig-29 number 02(white) 2023. It was made exactly by looking at the reference pictures. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3334463/ If there is a mistake, please do not forget to write it down. This livery was funded by a friend named AirHunter. In memory of Captain Andriy "Juice" Pilschikov This is the clear version. Weathering and the original version will be added soon.
