EngineerFalcon Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 That's an actual sociocultural reality.... "A beautiful aircraft, is a aircraft which well flight" Marcel Dassault. This is also why french guys go in war "with flower in rifle". Frenchs are little bit too naive and poets to do war (but fairly competents to build efficient (and beautifull) war machines), this is why they tend to "wake up" in late. "Ho shit , why this Nazi annoys me while i appreciate my wine and this beautifull day ? Hu, what ? They invade us ? why ? are they mad ? They do not like wine (strange people) ? ho shit... let me finish my cigaret" :) Haha, this is exactly it  I never really liked that quote from Dassault. Our Noratlas wasn't particularly a beauty queen. The Mirage, though... And the Étendard family is just splendid.
schroedi Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 (edited) All these scenes are from the movie "Sky Fighter" / "Les Chevaliers du ciel", which in my opinion is by far the best film for aircraft porn, way better than "Top Gun" because they filmed everything during flight with a camera mounted in one of the drop tanks - no static filming in blueboxes etc. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sky_Fighters Edited April 12, 2015 by schroedi
Stratos Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 the non retractable fuel pod gives it character :) I agree with that, it really gives the beauty queen a agressive look. I really hope Aviodev gives us a refueling probe to their F.1 too. I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!
supesoft Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 This looks very nice, especially cockpit. Almost photo-realistic and it is for us, virtual pilots foremost, because cockpit what we watch all the time. Thank you for share these pictures with us. Odd, I was just thinking the same thing yesterday. That with everyone upping the realism, the cockpit is indeed, something we are wedged into for several hours at a time. And so, it really helps to have those intricacies in the cockpit. I agree entirely.

King_Hrothgar Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Not everything is screenshot material. At some point they have to build a proper FM for it. They could post a screenshot of notepad filled with C++ code, but that wouldn't be terribly exciting.

zaelu Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) hi tsumikae, no bet in italiay to say: chi vivra' vedra' I' no able to make a right translate of this proverb... In English is "time will tell" or more literally "we will live and we will see". The greatest mountain to climb is FM. And is so high that many will fail to climb it. Or, they will deliver a debatable/shabby A/EFM. I hope this mountain is not too steep for this module as Mirage really deserves its place in DCS. Another problem is imho the weaponry and the radar. And here I can see some 3rd Party actually reselling/licensing the technology to other 3rd parties. Or even ED could do that... maybe even with a "generic" AFM or comprehensible tools to build AFM or EFM. At some point this will become very sensible to do because it brings revenue and opens DCS to a wider audience of 3rd parties.
