A lot of work is already done, but there's more to do - sorry for being vague, handing out details isn't something I'm allowed to do. There's no release date, but I would estimate that you'll see it this year. 1.3.0 = EDGE then ? I've learned that it can be quite tricky to do right from a performance point of view. It can actually make things run a lot worse if not done carefully.
