Has to be the Spifire.

109, too angular. P51, never liked the under slung belly radiator. P47, looks like its obese...

Unfortunately it seems I can't vote for the Whirly :(

Spitfire is the ONLY correct answer here. That's real beauty.

Mustang, of course but I prefer models with Allison engine, XP-51 or P-51A.

Naturally, the P-38 is the queen of all things beautiful, and always will be.

Of the list presented here, I must choose the P-47. A strong and rugged aesthetic, rather than a delicate elegance, it is none the less a wonderful airplane to see and hear.

Its difficult to argue with elegant lines like these:

For me 109 and 51 would tie for the first place, Spit is a pretty close 2nd. 190A and 47 would again tie, for 3rd place.

Though, various versions of these aircraft look vastly different from one another, so just saying spit, 109 etc is a bit generalizing ;)

Wishlist: F-4E Block 53 +, MiG-27K, Su-17M3 or M4, AH-1F or W circa 80s or early 90s, J35 Draken, Kfir C7, Mirage III/V

I would love to have a P-38. I might even have voted for that if it was official. Hopefully the rumors are true and leatherneck makes one.

Should we count in the planes worked on by VEAO team? After all they're warbirds made for DCS too, aren't they? If yes, I'd vote for their Spit XIV (I don't like Merlin powered versions), If not, I'll have to stick with Mustang.

Allright, voting for the Spit XIV, which nobody haven't seen WIP shots of, might seem a bit far fetched, but judging from VEAO's shots of very good external models of Bearcat and Warhawk I'd say these guys know what they're doing with 3D design software and upcoming Spit should not be an exception.

OK, John Travolta has a P51, that makes it Cool. And the P51 makes Tom Cruse Look Cool... a little.....Top Gun helped...a little... The P51 just has something about it. History I suppose, not too far from the Spit.

The P47 was my next choice it has that Arnold look about it, the John Wayne, Chuck Noris of air craft. and I'm bias, I'm an A10'er

Then the Spitfire. It's like the Dos Equis Guy, If others just looked like it, They'd be interesting. Its been there, Done it, and came back...
