Just because a specific version hits the Open Beta.branch does not.mean it will goto the release branch.

Sometimes a newer version will go on OpenBeta to fix any major.issues discovered in open.beta, etc

Ok, I'll accept that but the point is there has been no information on the status of the current OB release (38601) either moving to "public" or otherwise.

All I'm asking for is a little communication./

You will get communication when either its pushed to public or a new OB version is released, thats how its worked up to this point.

Holy cow, that looks serious for "minor" update

May I ask for a clarification?

on what RamAir is?

on what RamAir is?

On the function and location of the said ram air on 190. It's all too common that any sort of air inlet gets labeled 'ram air'. That's why I'm asking.

Is this about the front inlet for engine cooling? If yes, then what was missing? Drag modeling, influence on thermal characteristics?

Is this about the compressor inlet? What effects specifically were omitted previously?

Something else?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ram-air_intake

A ram-air intake is any intake design which uses the dynamic air pressure created by vehicle motion to increase the static air pressure inside of the intake manifold on an internal combustion engine, thus allowing a greater massflow through the engine and hence increasing engine power.

My original question still stands.

Compressor critical altitude as a function of speed, typically.

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.
