Hey guys,

I will be doing a live stream of the P-40F on Tuesday 14th July at 19:00 UTC/GMT (20:00 BST).

Here is the list of things I'll be covering:

Re-cap of Duxford Flying Legends weekend.

Reveals of aircraft that we're working on that were shown over the weekend to the public.

DCS background, icon, description, encyclopaedia, mission briefing screen and mission loading screen.

Spawn in-cockpit for a live flight.

Now this is the interesting bit....

We all know that I love my jets and whilst Pman thinks I don't love props as much, I still very much enjoy flying them, so he set me a challenge.

"Jump in the P-40F, start her up, taxi out, take off, fly about and land her....live, streamed"

So, challenge accepted. Tomorrow night I'll be donning my Biggles hat and goggles and will attempt to do just that :pilotfly:

Please join me tomorrow night at 8pm UK time on our twitch channel http://www.twitch.tv/ells228 to watch me either disastrously fail the challenge or actually pull it off.

And we'll try and have some fun on the way and show you what we have.

Join us on Teamspeak here:

Thanks,

Chris.

Are you using an EFM (WIP) for the current build of the P40 you will be streaming, or are you not that far along in the module's development?

Current specs: Windows 10 Home 64bit, i5-9600K @ 3.7 Ghz, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB Samsung EVO 860 M.2 SSD, GAINWARD RTX2060 6GB, Oculus Rift S, MS FFB2 Sidewinder + Warthog Throttle Quadrant, Saitek Pro rudder pedals.

Yes, using our base EFM.

I'll also open up our Teamspeak channel once I've given the initial presentation so you can join me on chat during the live flight.

Thanks Chris, enjoyed seeing that

You're welcome.

I've just watched the stream back and the quality of the stream isn't that good. I'll work on that for the next stream.

Nice! i'm not so interested in the P-40, but i'm very interested in some of the upcoming models you guys are working on, and i see that the quality is good! :)

i would kill for a P-36, but sadly there's norway i will be able to fly it in dcs anytime soon. but maybe in the future? ;)

Very impressive Chris. When we are provided such we often lose sight of just how much work goes into you guys feeding our habit. Looking forward to my first flight and I suspect it won't be quite as good as yours, in spite of the couple of hiccups you had.
