Have u tried ur solution? Cause copying those dlls from the older version is causing problems. Even if you only replace the Avionics.dll u dont have control of the airframe anymore.

Gazelle is only available in DCS 2 for now.

Looking to team up with another squad flying Blue Flag...we're almost exclusively MiG-21 during the US Timezones. We use GCI extensively to make MiG much more effective.

Would it be possible to add L39 and Hawks to more AFs? Right now they are pretty useless.

 

No RWR or Flares in L39, and you have to fly for min.30min+ to get shot down right above the target :/

Aircraft slots are daily tweaked. We should have more of them soon ;)

Yeah if you want to lose life in no time fly the mirage, I lost 2 for friendly fire, 1 for losing radar lock and radar getting bugged, then the last time my radar simply stopped working. so yeah :mad: had to break it before blue flags

No but ve aware this will revert the Mig 21 avionics in previous state. No jammer, dispenser not fixed etc but the radar works fine

Alot us Redfor might going on strike on this Round 6 and Sit this one out.

 

Round 5 was amazeing fun and did well.

 

Round 6 seems fixed campain meaning like war already won, before war even begun.

 

And Balance completely off. Were not complaining at all, Honestly all of us Blue and Red are Complaning. Redfore want 120B's on blue not C since that used only for f22 and not a f22 in dcs. and the enlargement to off and KA-50 turn over to Red side and all our sovit Sam and AAA to red side and Blue have Hawk site and Patriot site and nato air defance.

 

Blue side Complaining need more Blue players becuase never had in Round 5 thought unfair. Well honestly had Redfor on there knees on Round 5 what happen balls fall off somthing?

 

Xcom and Greg if after realisem and to simulate think really need re-think about how approch this what a east vs west about only one way make right choice.

Well I personally preferred the limited A2A weapons selection from the previous round that is not my main concern atm...

 

 

Leavu3 was recently brought to my attention, more specifically just how easily it can be abused in a MP setting.

 

 

ED seems to be sitting on their hands as far as any sort of official response... leaving individual servers to address the mod on their own. Hopefully ED steeps up and address it sooner rather than later.

 

 

I have not had the opportunity to delve into this thread to see if leavu has been addressed at this point... but I'd be interested in hearing an official statement from blueflag in respect to its use.

 

 

However, in my opinion it is far to easily abused in its current state and should not be allowed in the upcoming round.

Enlargement should be set to small imho. As REDFOR i definetly dont want it off - i personally dont see why ED just didnt set it to be the default in the first place.

 

Spotting in DCS without it is horrific and unrealistic, and the enlargements were added to help aircraft such as the Mig-21 which primarily have to spot their targets visually.

 

With the release of new HMDs and quite a few people playing on older hmds, its going to be important.

 

Ill be mostly flying SU-27 so its not going to be too bad for me (mig 21 is infuriatingly broken), but i really think most servers should fly with this setting on to some degree.

 

As for the other issues - I dont see much issue, but i think if we are setting mirage to blue only, then we should consider with gazelles release even less parity.

 

Ie su25t and ka50 red only, a10c and gazelle blue only (once release i guess in upcoming patch). One can argue they are different roles but it could work and be interesting. That said I can understand some aspects of why its mixed.

 

Nobody here is moaning because they dislike blueflag.. all just want to have input on it and to have it taken onboard in some way or another.

 

I personally dont mind aim120 as long as russian side gets r77.. just really hope ed would get around to giving mig 29 proper flight model as it feels very on rails compared to glorious su27.

PS: Definetly wont be going 'on strike' for this round.. doesnt accomplish anything not being involved. BadHabit me, darkwolf and others also fly in primarily mig 21 squadron.. we are likely going more combined arms for this blueflag but might be worth keeping an eye out for each other and arranging some joint operations.. it would be cool if we get the time.
