Hello! As the MiG-29 is a part of the 1.5 update I think this is the right place to ask. Will the 2 lines that are present on the windshield of the real MiG also be present on the new cockpit model? Btw..does somebody know what those lines/bars actually are..heaters..strengtheners?!

Hey, I just asked DGambo (ED Team member) and he told me this would be fixed.

Is it just me or is it not possible to turn off the HUD repeater? Doesn't seem to be a keybind for it.

In settings you can set it to J button. MiG 29 -> Systems, you will find it there.

You can make one MiG to fire AIM-120. Does it make all MiGs capable?

What? That has nothing to do with what the OP is asking and showing as default in the cockpit of the Mig29.

Boberro is right - the pit in the picture is modified, so there is nothing "default" about it.

For the love of sweet holy fumes -

What the OP is currently showing is the modernized Mig-29 design to be more "modern" on par against its Western Opponents. (Or just to improved design overall cause better stuff = better kills amiright?)

The early Mig-29's enjoyed its very dangerous agility compared to the F-18 Hornet and F-16 of the Western forces, but however it lacked a large chunk of situational awareness and low fuel relying heavily on guidance by AWACS and GCI. That's why it's a point defense fighter.

Considering now that in DCS - MIG-29 A-G-S were all beyond from achieving any system capable of data-linking.

I mean - yeah I enjoyed having that data-link capability in the current DCS, but it's a no go for DCS Beta. Honestly, I like it that way anyways - never did depend too much on the screen.

EDIT: I still can't quite find the exact variant of the Mig presented in the OP's picture, but it's definitely a modernized version of the Mig-29, because the Mig never had a Refueling Capability until now.
