I attach here the log, the dump+crash and the track file.

When i replay the track-file, the crash happens again at the same point.

 

Also i attach a hwinfo-screenshot from my system.

Please let me know if you need further informations.

ok , OFF like totally disabled ? what does in mean ? no ground selfShadowing or objects and trees don't cast any shadow anymore ?

This is indeed not acceptable :) . They're beautifull and it would be a shame not to have them on if the pc can handle them.

 

But I'll try !

Tried - that's not the issue. BTW with Flat Terrain Shadows OFF you're getting the new shadows, with Flat Terrain Shadows ON you get the old ones, so ON should be the safer setting...

 

I suspect it is the issue with AAA or vehicles firing, should be clear from the logs anyway.

well, i tried the switch to fullscreen as you mentioned (though i thought i had it on in the option) and it didn't crash tonight...we'll see in the long run.

Thx for the advice :)

 

[edit a week after]: still no crash since i use the alt+enter to force fullscreen

For me it didn't help after all.

 

Played one of the Enemy Within missions once and went fine, then it kept crashing at exactly the same spot every time I flew it. The crash occurs when I try to lock on the enemy occupied building in the heat of the battle - so there is a lot of action going on the ground. On my first play through I didn't use TGP and nothing crashed, so this may be an important factor.

 

The same crash happens in two other missions when the troops are spawned and the ground battle begins. Sometimes when the TGP is on, sometimes with it off.

 

Logs and DxDiag attached. Turning of shadows didn't help either.

 

*edit* flew the mission again without turning the TGP and all was fine.

Had a crash again. Log files attached. Was a mass crash with a bunch of other people on our server.

Got again setShader@DX11Renderer@RenderAPI@@UEAAHPEAUIShade multiple times after switching off all shadows:

 

["flatTerrainShadows"] = 0,

["shadowTree"] = false,

["shadows"] = 0,

 

Game is crashing this way about two times per hour, so its unplayable as it is.

Any idea how to fix ?

Besides ground shadows off and lowering some graphics settings I also unload possible incompatible programs.

 

Like (suspend) Autohotkey and close my Firefox instances that has a dozen addons in it and also known to have memory leaks.

 

It seems 1.5 has memory leaks too. This is much like the good old days of MS Flight Simulator and its system instablity, sanitize your memory before running this systems hog.

Game crash while in multiplayer (104th server)

 

Was in an A-10C flying toward waypoint Alpha. Before the crash I was looking around in my TGP and had just finished tweeking the gain and level while it was overlooking alpha.

 

I attached a zip file with my NFO file, a track and the logs.
