JazonXD Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Hi everyone, just wondering if it's confirmed that the F-15C will or will not be getting a clickable version? I remember about 6 months to a year ago, ED or maybe some members were discussing about a clickable version of the F-15C being produced... JazonXD Posted December 3, 2015 Author Posted December 3, 2015 Which then begs the question... WHERE'S THE F-18? xD I remember receiving a news letter last year talking about the development and progress of the F-18. We haven't really gotten any more information ever since. pr1malr8ge Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 For the WIN [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]If your desired effect on the target is making the pilot defecate his pants laughing then you can definitely achieve it with a launch like that.

Nice F-35 H8 B8, m8. Seriously though, they need to drop the IRST, put a LPI datalink in that beast, and GET THOSE BLEEPING CONFORMALS OFF THE F-15C. Leave those CFTs to the F-15SEs... Lord of Salt
Sryan Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Hey I do not hate The F35! in fact I love it. The reason it's recieving so much FLaK in popular media can simply be explained with good old chinese wisdom: “Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak.” I do not, however, like a collection of 32 planes and calling it an airforce. Anyway, let's get back on topic. Check my F-15C guide
XeNoise Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) Boring programming stuff on going, no pretty pictures to share of that I guess ;) Or maybe ed want's to surprise us and will start with pre sale as soon as black sea will be converted to t4. :DD (hope never dies) But now seriously, in my opinion most passionate f15 pilots will take a brake after a decade, and dedicate themselfes to other planes. To put more work on it wouldn't be very profitable or at least not yet. It would make much more sense if they would use the time for a different version of said aircraft. I would love to fly an f-15se for example. Edited December 4, 2015 by XeNoise

Boss86005 Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 I really hope ED makes a clickable cockpit for the F-15C! Have been wanting it for a long time along with a DCS F-16 of course. :) "We sleep safe in our beds because rough men stand ready in the day and night to visit violence on those who would do us harm". --------------------------------------------------------- Intel i-9 9900k @ 5.0 Ghz, EVGA 2080tiFTW3 11Gb, Corsair H115 PRO water cooler, Gigabyte AorusMaster motherboard, EVGA Super Nova 1000 watt G+ powersupply, G.SKILL 64Gb ram @3800 MHz, HP EX 920 M.2 PCIe 3TB,Windows 10Pro x64
JazonXD Posted December 6, 2015 Author Posted December 6, 2015 My dream of the DCS collection would be full fidelity everything that we already have in the sim (Mig 29... I'm looking at you) along with F16 (basically from BMS) an F-18C or above (probably no higher than Charlie because of mil restriction) and F-15E, but once again, probably never gonna get that anytime soon due to mil restrictions, so I'll settle for a very high quality F-15C. Oh yeah, leatherneck is also working on an F-14 which is truly amazing, but I'm still slightly afraid that it will throw off the balance of the sim because of the 54s xD AMD 5600X -- Gigabyte RTX 3070 Vision -- 32GB 3600MHz DDR4 -- HP Reverb G2 -- Logitech 3D Extreme Pro -- Thrustmaster TWCS BRRRT! Svend_Dellepude Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 AIM-54 were built to take out enemy bombers before they could release nukes or cruise missiles. It was never built to take out maneuvering fighters. Still a threat of course, but AIM-120 should still be your main concern.
