I've got some pictures of the FG-1D from the Virginia Military Aviation museum. Granted it is the Goodyear version of the F4U but it was pretty neat. 

Anyone want to see them?

I'm no photographer and this is from my phone, so take it for what it is.

She was a real beauty, massive, and in excellent condition from a visual perspective. Allegedly, she is airworthy and they fly her from time to time. 

They have a bunch of other nice aircraft there as well. 

Hats off to Virginia Military Aviation museum.

I was joking because Mag3 had said they were working on the damage modeling and that was the last thing to do before being handed over to ED. So I honestly thought the Corsair would come out sometime after summer 2023. 

 

I'm not joking anymore, a high chance now the F6F will come before the F4U.

i wouldnt be surprised with how little they say and how little work appears to be done
