OxideMako Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Looking good! Are you still aiming for a mid-December release?

Ultra Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Looking good! Are you still aiming for a mid-December release? Yes. That's the best news I've heard all day. :)
OxideMako Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Yes. That one word just made my month! Looking forward to it! :pilotfly:
Sweep Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 You got pretty lucky at 2:00! Looking forward to fighting this bird! And flying it...when I have more money to spare! Lord of Salt
Ultra Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Zeus, if you could answer this for me, it got lost in the previous discussion thread, What systems had to be more estimated due to classified material or otherwise, compared to what is modeled close to reality, such as things like IFF? I'm just curious.
Vampyre Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 You guys are making it very hard to patiently wait for this release. Good job. Truly superior pilots are those that use their superior judgment to avoid those situations where they might have to use their superior skills. TomCatMucDe Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 (edited) M-2000C air battles in TacView Yes. Thanks for the teaser Zeus, you are a much better pilot than what you want us to believe :) A question, "mid Decembre" means rather 15th plus or minus a day, or somewhere between 9th and 21st? :) Edited December 9, 2015 by TomCatMucDe

I wish I knew which missiles were used though. Brisse Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 What systems had to be more estimated due to classified material or otherwise, compared to what is modeled close to reality, such as things like IFF? I'm just curious. I believe they have previously said RWR symbols and sound cues are unknown and thus approximated/fictional. Nice flying Zeus. Can't wait to beta test this bird. Mid December is so close :)
Aginor Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Thank you, Zeus! Your frequent and interesting updates convinced me, I bought the module last night. I hope that will encourage you and other third parties to keep those updates coming! :) DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet
Zeus67 Posted December 9, 2015 Author Posted December 9, 2015 Thanks for the tease. I wish I knew which missiles were used though. The blocks are Super 530Ds, the missile shaped ones are Magic IIs. Slipp Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 The blocks are Super 530Ds, the missile shaped ones are Magic IIs. How much better are new 530D's in game compared to 530F's that are currently in DCS?
WinterH Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 How much better are new 530D's in game compared to 530F's that are currently in DCS? Unless I'm mistaken, there are no 530Fs in DCS, the ones currently in are already 530D. 530F was used on Mirage III & Mirage F1 and as far as I know not on Mirage 2000. Wishlist: F-4E Block 53 +, MiG-27K, Su-17M3 or M4, AH-1F or W circa 80s or early 90s, J35 Draken, Kfir C7, Mirage III/V DCS-Dismounts Script

I was under the impression that the Mirage 2000C did use Super 530D's. They just aren't present in the game yet. At this stage we only have 530F's. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
spacenavy90 Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Yes. Nice! Can't wait. Just pre-purchased the other day and now eagerly awaiting the beta release. The option was not fitted to French RDM as far as I know. France had a lot of Mirage F1 and Super 530F when first Mirage 2000 C were fielded. Only the first 37 Mirage 2000 C (S1 to S3 standards) were fitted with RDM radar. Razbam Mirage 2000 C is based on late Mirage 2000 C RDI (S5) with Super 530D. Mirage fanatic ! WinterH Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 (edited) I've just checked and funnily it is indeed listed as 530F in loadout screen and in game, but encylopedia lists it as 530D. So my mistake it seems 530F was, after all ingame currently. Strange though, only thing that carry it in sim is Mirage 2000-5 and by it's time, I was under the impression that 530F was out of service may be I'm wrong :). Edit : BTW, seems I have quite a bit of reading to do on French fighters :music_whistling: Edited December 9, 2015 by WinterH Wishlist: F-4E Block 53 +, MiG-27K, Su-17M3 or M4, AH-1F or W circa 80s or early 90s, J35 Draken, Kfir C7, Mirage III/V DCS-Dismounts Script

Ys, in-game Mirage has always used 530F. And it sucks. :) That's why I am asking about the new RAZBAM 530D and it's performance increase.
Zeus67 Posted December 9, 2015 Author Posted December 9, 2015 ED has upgraded the in-game 530F to 530D standards after we made the request. That happened just this week and it is not yet available. That's all we know about the issue.
