I have a GTX 650ti GPU. Is there any way to know if this is one of the GPUs that needs this driver update? I would love to hear from someone with an older card like mine to see if the new drivers delivered any improvements in performance.

Finally .. another stupidity is fixed:

"Joystick/controller hotkeys now correctly differentiate between devices, rather than treating e.g. "Button0" on every device as identical."

Oh My God!!!

I never thought that would get fixed. That is probably the single most needed fix for TIR since the company was founded.

:yay:

EDIT: @Blooze I would install it just for the USB button fix.

And you guys can thank me for that one. I'm the one who first brought that bug to their attention the day they released the new version of their software! I was trying to figure out Why my mem speeds were gimped until by accident I closed out TIR and noticed the speed jump up. Mike ordered a 980ti to test the issue for me but never got back to me letting me know they tracked the bug down and I've been running with NI P2 state upping my memory speed since then. He could have at least let me know that he found the bug and thanked me for telling them about it...

I wonder if it knows the difference between left and right shift, ctrl, etc., now. I don't feel like installing it just to find out and my sim pc is currently not available.

Something strange happens to me after this update. My TIR 5 was connected to my monitor USB tupe 3.0 hub and ceased to work on this type of port after update. It is working however on a normal USB 2.0 port. Monitor usb hub is fine because I have test it with other devices.

Anybody else experiencing strange behaviours on USB 3.0 ports?

Ok, no more need of confirmation... NEW BUG CONFIRMED. My TIR 4 device is now destroyed while TIR 5 is not working anymore on USB 3.0. I have raised an ticket to NAtural point and I am extremly pissed off by such bug which lead to physical malfunction to my TIR 4 device .

For your information: TIR 4 is not working anymore even on USB2.0, nor with software downgraded to the working version 5.3.

Admin: I think that is worth to have this announcement as sticky... hopefully other users will avoid this issue

No apparent problem with the new TIR driver here, plugged directly into computer's usb 2.0 port.

No problems what so ever, uninstalled the old drivers and installed the new ones. Never unplugged the TiR and it worked immediately with all profiles intact. FPS improvements on all games.

The problem appears only if is connected to USB 3.0. I have two computers and both had issues. While TIR5 resumed working when I plugged it into USB 2.0, the TIR 4 simply cannot activate (both modes tried with and without pro clip).

I don`t have such problems with my TIR4 connected to a USB 3.0 port and the new software (v5.4.1). Everything working fine here. I installed the new version without unplugging the device.

Update: my TIR 4 resumed working after playing it around on multiple computers. Only thing remaining is that they are not working on USB 3.0. .. well I can live with this.

I am glad I am an isolated case, but having 2 machines with same behavior is a bit more than strange.

For those of you using USB 3.0 ports, have you installed your Motherboards USB 3.0 drivers? Potentially a solution if you haven't already done so.
