GoonerTC Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 What an awesome module for DCS, im loving this wee bird a lot! But got a couple of things to mention 1) Just completed the first campaign mission and after London was instructed to look at direction 104 at 6nm. but couldnt find anything for ages so just called in some help. when I saw burning carnage it was on a heading of 140. 2) Frame rates. 2.0.2 I'm getting 55-60 in 1.5.3 OB i was getting less than 11 for the start and final 10-15 mins, dont know if that was due to all the wee friends (nice touch by the way). But over all impressed really impressed thank you!

Are you sure? **Spoiler** I believe London does instruct you to go heading 140. The enemy you needed to find was an armoured convoy of BTR's and Howitzer's. Edited May 7, 2016 by HoneyBadger

HoneyBadger Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Spoiler alerts please. Ah, sorry. I've updated my post
NeilWillis Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 I have noticed a lack of the slip ball when starting the gazelle in both quick start and after the Gazelle is inserted into pre-existing missions in 1.5.3 Beta. Anyone else seeing the same thing?
grant977 Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 When landing off airport sometimes when you shut down the helicopter shakes bounces and destroys itself.
GoonerTC Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 My bad, I had to restart the campaign ....... dont ask, but they do instruct you to follow bearing 140 sorry for being a duff gen master! still a brilliant mod!
pittlebelge Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 A minor one: the landing light elevation varies depending on what you are facing. If facing an upward slope (top of mountain) the light points upward (sometimes above the rotor disk. And if facing a downward slope, the light points down.
kurnz Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Controls indicator (rcntrl+enter) , without the horizontal line , is it feature of FFB type joysticks or a bug ?
Phantom453 Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Maybe someone already encountered it, too. I damaged my main and secondary rotor and tried to use the repair functionality. Everything fine until repairs started, the chopper lifted, glitched upside down and landed on its roof, pilot blacked out and then the whole chopper started to burn - I was doing it in MP. Can't find any other posts on this, other than this one. I too have this problem. Did my first auto rotation landing at Creech and landed heavy snapping off the tail boom just before the tail rotor. No other apparent damage. Requested repair from the ground crew via the radio, which was acknowledged and the countdown started as expected. However, when the countdown finished and the aircraft levitated off the ground (as is expected) it then started to shake violently, burst into flames, flipped upside down and then exploded into 9,000,601 bits (yes I counted them all :smilewink: This was in single player NTTR at Creech, returning after a bit of target practice. Anyone else seen this?
kreisch Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Was creech in my case too. Ugly-Squadron GamestarPinboard
Mt5_Roie Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 I think the Creech repair teams are slacking off a bit. Will see if we can rustle them up to make them work hard. The beatings will continue until morale improves! Can't find any other posts on this, other than this one. I too have this problem. Beta Sokol Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 Labels Shift F2 Labels on/off does not work for me, But, thanks for this awesome modul !!!
rogonaut Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 Shift F2 Labels on/off does not work for me, But, thanks for this awesome modul !!! seems like non of the labels are maped as default, check your settings if u havent already.
NeilWillis Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 Might be worth trying RShift F10, the default labels keypress. Also, have you tried LShift and RShift? The two are treated as separate for a lot of functions.
xaoslaad Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 I've noticed about labels on off as well. I've tried alt ctrl and shift both left and right with f10 and none of those seem to work.
Scorpion7 Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 I noticed the same for the 4 in the UHF Radio menu for the keyboard. I looked at the default.lua and it has the 4. It just doesn't show in the keybinding menu in game. Do you know how to force to show in game so it can be bound on the keyboard?
Scorpion7 Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 UHF Radio button 4 There's a typo in the input default.lua's, 4 is used twice. Easy fix in the meantime. Sorry, My last reply was to this post by Deezle.
AldoUSMC Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Night Vision Goggles on Multi-screen Setup Polychop-Simulations Team, Nice work, enjoying flying your SA-342M. Not really a "bug" but when I go to Night Vision Goggle view my center screen view turns into my limited FOV goggle view.. no issue there... but my left and right screens turn pure white. Please consider making the screens go black (left and right) vice white as it's actually unpleasant to fly "NVGs" with two totally white screens glaring on my left and right. I prefer not to physically turn the two outside screens off when flying night/low light. I am running 5760x1200 in 3x1 for that screen shot. Feel free to PM me with questions if you need more detail. UncookedMeatloaf Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 In the most recent update "flight control collective" in the axis assign section is red, disabling the controls. This makes the Gazelle unplayable right now because I cannot control the collective.

For example, your rudder and throttle?
UncookedMeatloaf Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 (edited) Have you checked that you don't have two controllers assigned to the same axis? bart Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 I thought I would post here first with this as so far no one else has mentioned it so issue may be at my end rather than a bug. Ever since the Gazelle released and in every version I have (beta, release and alpha) it's the same.....on the controls position box, the red one that you can set up in different corners, I don't get the horizontal line in the box, just the vertical one. Also with the latest beta version release I can't see my own pilot body, tried r shift + p but nothing. All OK in other release versions. Hope this makes sense.....I'm grounded with the flu at the moment and not functioning too well!!! unbreakable Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 (edited) Could you improve gauges textures(actually I meant "polygonal representation of a circle")? Because at this very moment they are probably the worst in DCS World. Even gauges textures of the oldest module Ka-50 looks better and smoother, not to mention A-10C.
