Basically anything done in the options menu, after pressing OK cause Black Screen

You may find trouble after copying 2.0 inputs, 1.5.4 adds other options which may conflict or not actually show up after using other file

You could, but I wouldn't recommend editing the default views,

I fixed it by changing the monitor settings to 1920x1080 save, exit, reload and change to single 5990x1080 again (I'm on triple monitors) . Now I can set any buttons without it black screen.

btw, I have noticed that "tree draw distance" does not make any differance if i run as a single monitor, they popup as i get closer or zoom in, regarless what setting I put. If I run it as 3 monitors, I can see the trees drawn far away without any popping trees, but of course the fps is halved instead.

I tried to search the forum for any information / solution to fix it when running as one screen as it gives better fps but I got too much or wrong information.

Hoping to get a gtx1080 in the autumn which might allow me to run as 3 screens at 60fps min.

I'm having a weird issue. I have all 3 branches installed and both Release and OB are reading from the main Saved Games\DCS\Config\options.lua. Open Alpha is reading from it's proper Saved Games\DCS.openalpha\Config\options.lua. None of the three branches seem to be reading from Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\options.lua at all.

What I did do is edit Saved Games\DCS\Config\options.lua to add the VR text block and it fixes the error. I can even edit the pixel density and I can see it is writing to this file successfully.

However I'm still concerned that I have two branches both writing to a single options.lua and another options.lua not being used at all. That shouldn't happen.

I may have specified a controller profile .diff.lua between Saved Game directories across branches and DCS might have "back solved" the wrong directory from that.

EDIT: I also tried deleting any-all of the 3 options.lua and running the various branches and they never automatically recreated this file as it was missing. Does anyone know where it is defined which Saved Games\DCS.XXXXX\ directory each branch will use?

EDIT2: OK it seems that DCSW Release Branch will recreate options.lua in its directory if deleted but Open Beta Branch won't (it's trying to write to the DCS\Config\ folder and maybe it doesn't have permission.) However it does have write permission to change options through the OB software if the file already exists but does not have the ability to create the file if it doesn't.

Some Items require a UI Restart (Closing DCS and Re-starting it).

Did the wonky VR tracking view that made it seem like everything was at an angle get fixed with this latest patch?

From what I've tested so far it seems to be fixed.
