I don't think there will be a release of any DCSW update this weekend IMO.

Definitely sounds like the development of DCSW.

How come they are carrying TGP Lightning and Sniper on the same plane? Do they do that to target multiple things?

There's only one TGP, Sniper. The other one is AN/AAQ-13 navigation pod with FLIR and terrain following radar.

I'm wondering if the update for Nevada will come with the update to the Caucasus as in it will be part of the 2.5 update.

I was wondering (and hoping) the very same thing.

There are very simple systems that can act chaotic. :music_whistling:

Interesting. Actually, very interesting.

I would love to know what they did to (apparently) nearly eliminate friction from the mechanism. Perhaps it is just me, but it seemed that there was little to no drag from the bearings.

So what were those brown rocket looking things on the racks beside the generators?

I've seen those fuel tanks before.........Military3Geza.jpg

Know and use all the capabilities in your airplane. If you don't, sooner or later, some guy who does use them all will kick your ass.

not really an update though

Sometimes I think this thread should be called the " Weekly Hype Train "

Good update. Loving the look of the WW2 and Nevada updates!

Couple of screen shots that could have been taken weeks ago together with other Tonopah and WWII update.

ED is working hard and I see that clearly but honestly all the hype about weekly updates? I would rather see a dev diary type of story that could give some clues about what is done vs. what is still a challenge to work on.

So good news is that ED is working hard. That's all the news I need. And expecting 2.5 release this weekend is just plain cruel to people who are getting their hopes up.

Yes, I know... You want me to leave this train now...

I really don't know who would have expected 2.5 to release this weekend. Frankly I don't expect it towards the end of next month, but it's really anyone's guess now. I agree on the dev diary also, but I am sure they don't want to dedicate the time to such a thing. Also it could throw expectations of a release time frame and that is something ED cares not to get into because they have been burned so many times.

Next month? I'm assuming that all the releases are for Xmas. F18, p40, spitfire, Normandy and maybe some hints from bst and work on hormuz.
