Raven68 Posted December 9, 2016 Author Posted December 9, 2016  Viggen release? Maybe, maybe...:D Doubtfully. Even with the "announcement" video there seems to be something lacking to indicate they are ready to even release it early. Gliptal Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 No fixes for the AI taxiing and startup bugs?
sobek Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 Didn't LNS say they wanted to release the Viggen in a complete state? Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
Raven68 Posted December 9, 2016 Author Posted December 9, 2016 (edited) Didn't LNS say they wanted to release the Viggen in a complete state? Then we will never see it! :D Nothing is ever complete in DCSW for there will always be updates. ;) Seriously though, I think that is their approach to all their modules they're planning. The Mig-21 is a shining example of that. Pocket Sized Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 LN sent the Viggen to ED for QA testing a few weeks ago. When ED decides the module is ready, it will be released. Raven68 Posted December 9, 2016 Author Posted December 9, 2016 LN sent the Viggen to ED for QA testing a few weeks ago. When ED decides the module is ready, it will be released. The module COULD be ready now, but ED's release strategy may not allow it this month. If I am not mistaken there was some discussion about ED spacing releases out and not stacking the dates close together. I could be incorrect, but I do believe a 3rd party developer mentioned it. MemphisBelle Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 First things first...Spitfire and Normandy...then anticipate Caucuses, 2.5. Etc. nobody cares about the Spitfire ****duck and running away****:D:D kidding, I know how much it is expected, but I absolutely don´t care about it and cant wait to finally read something more interresting about the Hornet rather than yet another new WW2 module where I am (personally) absolutely not interrested in. So I keep patiently waiting until the great day will come, which is hopefully not anymore that long ahead. BlackSharkDen | BSD Discord | DCS Tutorial Collection

MemphisBelle Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 (edited) Weird name to be hating on WWII modules ;) hehehe, nice one...But. Even though my Nickname obviously refers to a certain Aera and a certain kind of aircraft. I can assure you that the meaning behind it and the reason why I´ve choosen it (long before I have even joined my very first Internet Community) have absolutely nothings to do with my favourized Orientation when it comes for Aircrafts. :) Ahh, forgot. I haven´t said that I´m hating them..I just don´t care and are not interessted...thats a different I suppose, isn´t it? Pocket Sized Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Let ED get the spit in the open (which is what this weekends update will bring if all goes to plan) then, after they polish it a bit more you can probably expect a few updates as to progress on bigger projects. DCS modules are built up to a spec, not down to a schedule. In order to utilize a system to your advantage, you must know how it works.
