LieutenantFalcon
Why has the AIM-7 (all 3 variants) been removed from the list of weapons to be included in EA, and has been added to weapons that will come later? https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3285514&postcount=13 EDIT by BIGNEWY Update here https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3475596&postcount=21 AIM-7 re-added to list Edited May 7, 2018 by BIGNEWY added update
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted May 6, 2018 ED Team Share Posted May 6, 2018 AIM-7 is undergoing more testing internally, as we get closer to EA the list may change depending on what is ready for the early access release. Lithion
Wasn't the ALE-50 towed decoy also planned/mentioned initially? I recall looking it up but I can't find it referenced in the list anymore. Might be worth mentioning this in Mini-updates imho, since not everyone checks the list everyday and might be surprised if they check back in a few months. Either way, thanks for the info Newy. Greekbull
Of anything to potentially lose for EA the AIM-7 would be the one thing to give up. Not worried about it at all. Beamscanner
At what point will the EA list stop changing? It seems rather unethical to silently change the features available after having sold pre-purchases. Perhaps be more open that something was removed from EA. JumpinK
...anyway, I wouldn't need any weapons at the EA release. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted May 6, 2018 ED Team Share Posted May 6, 2018 (edited) Guys I have an update from the team "last week we did not think we'd have time to include the AIM-7 in the early access release and hit our release window. However, the team has been working around the clock and we now believe we can release the AIM-7, minus the P version and some of the sub-modes. We made it very clear in the sensors and weapons post that the list was very much subject to change." Edited May 6, 2018 by BIGNEWY Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
