AIM-7 is undergoing more testing internally, as we get closer to EA the list may change depending on what is ready for the early access release.

Wasn't the ALE-50 towed decoy also planned/mentioned initially? I recall looking it up but I can't find it referenced in the list anymore.

 

Might be worth mentioning this in Mini-updates imho, since not everyone checks the list everyday and might be surprised if they check back in a few months.

The ALE-50 has only operational on F/A-18E/F, B-1B, F-16C and ALQ-184(v9)

It rather seems that ED removed the AIM-7 to avoid any delay of the EA.

Of anything to potentially lose for EA the AIM-7 would be the one thing to give up. Not worried about it at all. I'm just excited to get it in any state.:D

At what point will the EA list stop changing? It seems rather unethical to silently change the features available after having sold pre-purchases. Perhaps be more open that something was removed from EA.

I'll be spending a month getting used to the systems I'm sure so although I'd prefer to have the Aim-7 at launch, the world certainly doesn't end.

It is just the EA release... We will get in the EA more and more weapons I think. I'm sure ED will not disapoint me or anybody else!

Develop process always stay on movement and subject to change before de EA.

However, the team has been working around the clock and we now believe we can release the AIM-7, minus the P version and some of the sub-modes.

 

We made it very clear in the sensors and weapons post that the list was very much subject to change."
