Personally I don't mind Steam at all, but if it's possible to run things without, I do. Especially in the case of DCS, any extra software in the background takes away valuable resourcess off of DCS. And I wouldn't want to wait any extra for modules Have been there as well and for a moment I thought I had dreamt it was possible Im on stable anyhow so i get to wait extra extra long.
