Thats the first time Ive clicked the wrong thing in a poll. Meant to vote Top Gun :).

Queens One Vision is great though, but thats about the only thing good about the Iron Eagle soundtrack, where Top Gun has a couple going for it, including two hits. Besides those few songs, both soundtracks are junk :).

I do too in DCS but mainly because I find it really distracting when I'm messing around in the mission editor or doing other stuff in the GUI. Some of the module tracks I really like but some I kinda hate. Won't mention which ones to be polite.

Man, those two movies were HUGE in my childhood - Iron Eagle being what made me want to become a pilot (adore the F-16!)

 

But I have to give the soundtrack to Top Gun, hands-down. Talk about iconic! Kenny Loggins baby!

I watched Iron Eagle again for the first time in 25+ years... that movie did not age well at all. It was hard to watch.

And having been in the military, you realize just how "Hollywood" that plot really is.
