I've got some updates for the MAM V-22.

Main issue I'm having is getting it to do a ground start WITHOUT the wings in the level position and "smashing" the props into the ground. Vertical take off from parking hot has always work from ship for me, but it's been awhile since I tested landing. I'm pretty sure I had the start up issue fixed but then one of the DCS updates broke all the STOVL landing stuff for a bit and I lost track of the file🤦‍♂️

The other V-22 MOD I think you guys are taking about has the wing rotation animation linked to the landing gear animation. A novel idea to make it work but......It kind of screwed the MOD/model for future updates via lua edit.

I'll take a look at the MAM V-22 and post what I have

🤬🤬🤬🤬 I can't get the freaking engine rotation/start up routine right. If I get the prop to clear the ground at start up they wont go level in flight🤬

But I'll at least post the lua with corrected specs. tomorrow

But the only animation that's correct is vertical take off from parking hot. Both vertical from ramp and short take off have the props hitting the ground.

OK here's the best I can do right now with the V-22

Back up your current MAM V-22 lua and try this.

Updates

Name changed to MV-22B

Performance data adjusted

VTOVL/STOVL modes BASED ON WEIGHT/FUEL LOAD

50% and LOWER fuel load results in vertical take off and landing. Fuel load ABOVE 50% will result in short take off and landing.

THE BAD NEWS

Only the  vertical "parking hot " take off animation for the engines is correct. All other types of starts/landing and the props will hit the ground at some point. The plane takes no damage and working fine but it just looks so wrong😂🤦‍♂️

You can also do a uncontrolled "ramp" start that will make the plane static with the engines in the correct position, but even if you start the plane via trigger the props will hit the ground on start.

The issue lies somewhere in the "fold wing" code ARG 999. I can fix the ground strike but then the wing never go fully level for flight.

But it can still be fun for mission just use parking hot or don't look during take off🤷‍♂️

I'll add it to a very long list😂. I suck at texture editing/creation but I can look at the livery file. But I don't think I ever downloaded them. I do have one for the V-22 that works but I never even loaded the A400 other than to see if it loaded once

Hey,
I just fixed the A400M issues, took me like 10 min. The alpha channel of almost all .dds files was set to 0 (0% opacity), just changed it to 1 and added MipMaps while exporting.

Just copy the contents of this folder to the original Mod folder.

Still looks a bit strange, maybe I forgot to put the roughmets in the fix, but for me it defenetly looks better:

As i suspected, I forgot to put some files in the fix. Unfortunatly I can't put them in the fix, because the upload limit is 50MB in this thread. What I can do is put the files separatly here and tell you what to do.
Put these files into Military Aircraft Mod\Textures\Military Aircraft Mod.zip

Put them into the .zip folder and replace the old files.

MAM_A400M.dds MAM_A400M_B.dds
