Okay, do the lamps give off ultraviolet light like the lamps in the MiG 15?

i7 7700k, 32 GB RAM, GTX 1080, 500 GB NVMe m.2 SSD, Trackir 3 Pro, Gunfighter Mk I w/MCG; Mod. TM Cougar throttle and Mod. CH Pro Pedals w/Pro Micro + MMjoy2, Nostromo n52

While there are a couple of screws missing from the texture, which has already been fixed and submitted to the ED SVN.

 

The weathered cockpit is not good at all, the wear in many places is not realistic, the normal maps are far too high in places, also you may notice that most of my textures have still been used, such as the seat, throttle, externals etc

 

So please stop banging on about the weathered cockpit, this was initially my plan when i first started to do the cockpit as I love weathered cockpits, however I was told not to do that by the same person who has gone and released the weathered cockpit.

 

Incidentally the original textures that were seen and commented on which where well bellow standard where done by that same individual, until he was introduced to the new software by myself

 

Getting a little tired of it to be honest.

I'm hoping that this 'missing sound' can be fixed before too long,it is very necessary IMO.

Please to do the first 0 as blank texture. Its a small bug but fuselage numbers never looks like 099 or 009 (if its possible in DCS).

It will be nice to see 4 digits also on fuselage.

Yes,totally agree YoYo on this issue,having the '0' in front of the main fuselarge number is very unrealistic,and I would agree again on the possibility of being able to utilize four number digits.

 

The VPAF or Vietnamese Peoples Air Force which used the MiG-19 during the Vietnam war always used four figure numbers for their aircraft.

I noticed backlight behind the main panel showing through today.

I was in VR and it was most prominent behind the landing gear lever, but once I'd noticed that, I also noticed it in the gap between the two sections of the main front vertical panels.

Yeah, setting the frequency with the mouse is very tricky. It seems to be the same bug as the MiG-21, you have to move the mouse very slowly, otherwise it doesn't register even if the knob is turning on the ARK-5 panel.

 

=> Would it be possible to get the frequency visible in the "special" kneeboard page? It would be an idea solution, the MiG-15 and the F-86 have that for example, and it's invaluable help, especially since the frequency indicator is partially hidden by the right lamp in the MiG-19P cockpit, the graduations are not very precise, and there doesn't seem to be any audio of the ADF station with the usual morse code ID on this aircraft.

 

Guessing whether it's the correct frequency is not simple. The navigation training mission illustrate that perfectly, finding 662 kHz is very hard and may be confused with another beacon with a close frequency in the same area, the first time I headed somewhere else entirely, and I was not the only one.

Yeah if we could get a way to see the frequency somewhere that would be good. 420hz also and 662 gives me trouble. I too also ended up somewhere completely different in the navigation mission. I noticed when I was using the kneeboard map to navigate by marking my position, that the glk needle was not pointing in the right direction even though the map mark position showed me going the right way.

You forget this module is a Mig-19P,....not a Mig-19S/F6 the VPAP used. So a 4 digit number was and still is not a neccity. Just saying.

I'm not forgetting anything friend.......an ' S ' model is going to be created as an upgrade/future project,this has already been promised and announced by RAZBAM.You obviously missed this vital bit of information.So having the 4 digit numbers would be a good idea so that it's in place for when the 'S' model is created.

Secondly, the Op is suggesting, and not reporting a bug.

MiG-19S/P has not ability to perform simoultaneously rocket fire from four(4)rocket pods,but only from two(2),which are mounted on inner or outer pylons.Delete please this slot from A/C armament chart.

Agreed to having correct numbers although it isn't urgent so do more important stuff first.

Yo-yo will you be doing any skins for the 19 once the paint kit has become available.

After a target "LOCK" by RP-5(2000m and less)the piper diameter must change according to distance.Without changes in sim.Bug.

Also experience +1, wonder if the real one is like that or maybe you have info it does? It would make sense for a radar ranging sight.

 

Also have odd jitters when first adjusting wingspan or near the limit.
