Yes, the mod was already capable of it (and in fact, being able to do it was a large reason why they switched from an SFM to an EFM in the first place):

Very cool! I would like to see now after the flight model has been improved. I hope they demonstrate it before release.

Release date will be announched by ED, we will make an update about our progresses as soon as possible
