AFAIK reshade is not compatible with Open XR, yet...

Actually just got it working, appears you have to set it up outside the headset, config the settings you want to use, then restart DCS and reshade should now be working.

Im using SteamVR + Reshade with great result (still prefer this solution than OpenXR due current aretfacts with the Motion Reprojection turned on and the ability to set greater sharpness. I'm not saying "no" to OpenXR, especially if mbucchia is going to make it better, but with Reshade DCS looks better Today, at least for me.

Agree with this.  Need to pester Reshade creator to make it compatible with OpenXR.

Reshade 5 works via Steam OpenVR layer only so at present you need to run single threaded DCS.exe and depending on your headset may need -- force_steam_VR command line.
The VR mode also operates via Steam overlay and not through desktop. Open Steam Overlay while in DCS and look for Reshade icon in lower left, click it with your VR controller to bring up the window.

yeh its there in single thread but not multithread 😞

Really? I would think the new DCS Multithreading feature is independent of any VR headsets or runtimes.

From the Multi Threading FAQ:

Yup, MT working in SteamVR but can't use re-shaders. 😪

Performance wise, it is similar OpenXR CPU frametime.

Not sure if anyone else had this issue, but I am trying to make Reshade work with my normal DCS bin. It shows up correctly in the VR display on my screen, but when I look into the VR headset I don't see any of the modifications (works in 2d not 3d). Any potential conflicts you guys have seen in the past?

I guess you are using DCS-ST with SteamVR?  If not, then Reshade will not work with OpenXR, it is not compatible.

seems to work fine for me , you are select DX10/11/12 and OpenXR in the installation phase? I get the UI when i bring it up in the 2DView .. not done any other testing yet
