If you mean FM, I'd argue that for the case of helicopter modelling Ka-52 should be very close to Ka-50 behavior, so to make the Alligator enjoyable a nice 3D model, lighting and sound combined with a tweaked Ka-50 FM would be enough to give us 80% of fun with it. The rest is of course systems which are absent on Ka-50 (modern sensors, night features, etc.), but we shouldn't really expect them as this is not a full fidelity module and all this stuff is classified anyway. So, consider this as a bit slower and less armored Shark, but with some extra hard points, and have fun And if the multicrew will actually work this would be a double fun As for 3D model, I'd want the devs not to get carried away with the model detail though as we need frames in VR, and not a stutter fest like we have in Apache or any other recent module Helicopters are flying low, so with this ancient DCS engine it is better keep the geometry for the scenery around you, not for the dark corner of the cockpit about which no-one will care in a fight.. I mean, if you could draw a rivet somewhere at the top of the cockpit which no-one will see instead of making it out of 50 triangles, then please draw it. If we have a total amount of geometry close to Viper or Hornet levels, or even Flanker, this would be optimal.
