Pre-order, 17th of February’23

Really looking forward to F-15E, but after experienceing two delay on pre-order-selling I really doubt about the quality of this mod.

So you're cool with it taking them more than ten years to get close to early access but a two week delay on a milestone that isn't directly development related makes you think the module isn't going to be good? Please do explain the logic there.

 

From my point of view, there will be quiet long time between the actual mod release and the start of pre-order selling. If the delay have noting to do with the mod development, a two-days_delay should be enough to solve the problem. Yet another delay kicks in, which looks to me that maybe the mod have problem that can`t be solved before the releass and I dont know if they can fix it on time.
I have just start flying dcs and have no idea how long they have spent on developing this mod.I appreciate their work and I`ll apologize if I make any offensive comments. Hopefully the per-order selling will start right on time and the high quality mod will be released soon.

A few days or weeks delay as they muck about making videos for ED's website and YouTube channel to support the pre-order doesn't tell us anything either way about the state of the module.  (and don't forget it's going to be years more until it's finished, regardless of what state it hits EA in)

So I guess the message is - don't get wrapped up in waiting for modules or features because that way madness lies. Fly what's available and have fun.

I guess it would start accepting pre-orders around 3-4pm UKT. Let's hope it would be earlier.

I hope razbam wants to give us a release date after these repeated postponements in the preorder..since they said that the release date doesn't change, it means that they have decided it...let us know, then postpone that too but at least you look good

Or that could mean that they don't have a release date but the delays have not been related to development.

ok and where is the preorder? let me guess...delayed again? its normal for DCS products, to be dealyed thousand of times and have been developed more than real aircraft (6-7-10 years)

If they don't give any date Today, it would be a bit of a blunder. It's like paying money for a new car, not yet released, one day it will arrive from the factory but nobody knows when.  

It's rather hard to imagine that there would be no such information at the beginning of the pre-order, but I can't guarantee anything ;>.

just like with game updates: new preorders or releases don't tend to become available until the afternoon (UTC)

Glad to be corrected but I don't recall any other module release committing to an actual release date when the pre-order went up. Besides, its not all within Razbam's control anyway (if I remember right they have to submit it to ED for QA/QC and then of course it has to be rolled into the DCS update cycle).

As Razbam stated very clearly, the delays are related to the promotion material, not the product development.

They also said clearly that the release plan is not affected, by this. So we will have a shorter(!) time between pre-order and Early Access release. 

From my point of view, they could delay the pre-order sales another two weeks, or months, as long as it releases on time.

ED gives the news, not Razbam, and they respond about release. If the model is ready its only ED decision about test and timelines.

Thanks a lot to you for having explained that, instead. For how many times, by the way?

And why am I not surprised by all what's happening with this mod too? It's a toy and not a matter of life or death.

And (pre-release or whatever) it will released when its time come, just like all the other ones. Bah.
