confidential would be the amount, which bank, who's in charge of it.finding out if theres a 3rd party involved -if there is one- public information. These things need to be out in the open with their shareholders, and Id be willing to bet Notso has stock.

I don't believe corporate meetings beween stakeholders/shareholders, in any company are released to the general public, and especially to disgruntled consumers.

People should also remember that when you point a finger, there's 3 more pointing right back at you.

I don't believe Razbam are trading on the stock market, so he wouldn't have stock, he maybe as one of their SME's be a  stakeholder.

These threads inevitably go the same way, with the same players involved.

It's not a matter of if, but a matter of when. I'm pretty confident we'll see the asteroid first, then a finished and bugs free dcs world module.

Personally, I think an asteroid hitting the earth about right now would be the best thing for us.

Nupe.  I have ZERO stake in RB financially.  If they fold up tomorrow, it would be no skin off my nose.  I do have an admittedly emotional stake because I feel like I wasted 4+ years of my life and countless countless hours on this passion project (F-15E) to see it all potentially go down the toilet.

@NineLine - you've asked me not to speculate on stuff here.  So here's a direct question that maybe you can prevent speculation:  What happens to the money in the two scenarios above?  Because I think that is at the core of what people are asking here re: "why are you guys still selling the module during the dispute".  I'm curious myself because I honestly don't know how this works.

Thanks!

Actually, the real question is why is there not a disclaimer on the store to let folks new to DCS that the Razbam modules they are purchasing are currently not supported and, in the case of the F-15E in particular, may never actually be finished?

Im my opinion, that is just flat-out wrong and there is no valid reason I can think of as to why that could not be added - unless Razbam does not want that disclaimer added (which seems unlikely).

As it stands now, it’s the new consumers that get the short end of the stick here and may lose some of their hard earned money (as they might not want a store credit after this type of introduction to DCS).  It’s not a good look for DCS at all - what a shame.

My only hope is that it's going to wait for the next Tool album.

IANAL, but I believe that this is because it could be percieved in a court as a hostile action made with an intent to bankrupt RB.

This is correct. We can say even less now. We need to wait for official statements, and even then getting the nitty-gritty details probably will not happen.

Well I can tell you with 100% certainty, that we, ED's and Razbam's PAYING CUSTOMERS, are getting pretty damned sick of this situation and the wall of silence that has been put up, we DEMAND some statement on exactly what is going on with the products we have PAID for, this is beyond a joke now.

How can you keep selling the F-15E or other modules?
Right now we are working within the framework of the legal advice moving forward and not wanting to cause any more riffs or issues. It's a complex process at this point and most likely why it seems to be moving so slowly for everyone. Nothing more can be said about that right now. Sorry.

Edit: For the response that has been given re labeling for the F-15E please see the final two sentences.

Edit 2: I guess that doesn’t appear to directly cover it if you haven’t been watching the thread. The answer whenever that question has come up has been that they are selling it as the lawyers have advised. They won’t elaborate on that.

Oh, i'm certain of it. Extreme levels of entitlement mentality both here and on reddit are really terrifying. Some type of overcompensation maybe? 🙂

I’ll take a wild guess and say the only statement you’ll get is already in the OP. If/when ED choose to make a new statement the OP will be updated. I’m sure the CMs have noted your comment, but I doubt that will change the situation.

That still doesn’t make it right - beyond greed for dollars, I just don’t at all get why a disclaimer on a known/public dispute can’t be added so there is transparency at the time of purchase.  Regardless of the damn lawyers, it’s a bad look and a massive disservice for new customers - there is no changing that sad truth.

And most probably it‘s full of bugs - which could end up in a nice „Starship Troopers“ Assets and Module Pack. Could be worse 😊

So you know the monthly sales revenue generated by the Razbam modules then?

Other than the F15E, what other modules are affected, because last time I looked, all the other Razbam products were allegedly OUT of early access, in other words complete.

Greed, for $80 a pop ? The monthly sales generated by ED to be classed as greedy, in my view, would have to surpass all their monthly overheads. And I highly doubt that's happening.

You're aware that all business plans work on ROI's right? ED's business plan doesn't have to be to your liking, you're a consumer of their FREE base product, nobody forced you to buy other addons, you buy those through clever marketing and promotions. ED hasn't put a gun to your head, and yet you seem to want to put a gun to theirs?

Well, I own every single module, even those that haven't released yet, and I disagree with you! You don't speak for me!
