I just read that all the RB modules have been taken off the virtual shelves.

Where does that leave those of us that have a load of em. How long until they’re u/s? Will we be offered miles or refunds to replace what we’ve already bought?

I wasn’t around when the Hawk was released and cancelled or whatever happened so I wonder.

Hope this thing’s over and done with sooner rather than later. It got boring pretty quickly and while it was in the lawyers hands all everyone could do was wait. Be good to put it all to bed, lock the thread and move on but ED need to get a grip of things properly. This can’t be allowed to happen again surely, and don’t call me shirley 🤪.

But mister x once said somewhere, something, that he heard from mister y that mister z knows what happened...
That is definitely true!!! 😂

All I hope for is to have this ordeal finally over, everyone happy or at least on better terms again, so the beautiful F-15E module can continue..

So with months of silence, any little bit of info from members of either side is a reason to have a bit of hope. As customers, we are all just tired and we

want this to be resolved.. It feels like we've had a carrot dangled in front of our faces and we keep running after it, because many such as myself won't give up the

dream of seeing the Strike Eagle fully realized.. So I hope we do get some official news soon, Thank you

My Strike Eagle works great so speak for yourself.

Not to be that guy, but that's in the present. I mean, I'm in the same boat as you; I'm still enjoying the MiG-19 and Mirage 2000, but there's real concern about their continued support and compatibility with the DCS ecosystem.

Yes, but ED at least keeps them fine for over a year.

This, but instead of "My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 flavors last night" try "Ferris told me they passed out at 31 flavors last night". Doesn't make it true, but I don't think any of us are maniacs for bringing it up. (In fact I hope it's not true because if it is, it paints ED in a disgusting light)

As has already been pointed out, the "We all signed a settlement but ED still refuses to pay. I guess they are broke" comment on the Razbam Discord doesn't even make sense, since the only people signing a settlement between Razbam and ED would be the companies themselves. Razbam employees/contractors aren't parties to the contract, so they aren't going to have to sign anything.

If you look back through that Discord thread it's full of all sorts of wild claims and trash talk. It simply isn't a credible source of information.

Again, for the people at the back.

I rank anything stated on that discord with the same credibility as if it were from Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf.

@NineLine The news, be it credible or dubious, gives us inspiration for a resolution. We know RB and ED have been in years together but the ongoing dispute leaves us wondering what will happen.

The frustration surfaces from time to time.

We understand the frustration, but to comment would be unprofessional until there is a resolution to the dispute. As soon as we can share news we will and we all hope for good news.

@BIGNEWY We also worry that the Razbam's modules might stop working. While we know ED is supporting the modules, we are disappointed because we have not received monthly updates. As part of the purchase, we would normally expect timely updates.

They have continued to work for over a year now since RAZBAM paused development.

We all hope for a good outcome.

@BIGNEWY I know it has worked but we miss seeing new enhancements

We miss seeing Razbam creating a new YouTube video announcements. I always enjoyed their videos because they were well made.

Razbam is the only developer that is not holding up to their end of the service agreement.

The longer this discord comment goes without confirmation the more relieved I am. Any agreement that comes with a side of trash talk isn’t one I’d expect involves a resumption of a business relationship, but I guess you never know.

TBH, the fact that I purchased a number of modules (Harrier, Mirage, Mudhen, South America Map) from ED (yes, I purchased from ED - I know that because that's what the bill tells me who collected my payment) seem to have fallen out of service (some even before fulfilling their "Early Access" promise) has left a very bitter taste in my mouth. It's not as if this is the first time; ED has left me holding the bag before when I purchased the Hawk from them. I don't give a rat's behind for lame excuses or sob stories about some contractor acting up. If a company can't keep their suppliers in line, maybe they should take a good, hard look at their processes and they way they conduct business . Please, ED, get your house in order and provide relief for your customers.

Sometimes its not possible. I had always thought that after VEAO, renegotiating every 3rd party contract to include another VEAO possiblilty that they would have demanded a stipulation in the contract that demands the surrendering of the module in its entirety if it was released in any way, shape or form for payment to customers. Since Razbams contract predates VEAO, that stipulation was never considered (stupidly), and here we are. I seriously hope that this has changed EDs position, and any/all contracts in place now includes these provisions so they can contract out the work.

It "sort of" working, but there are bugs, like with GBU-12 when you try to put two on one pylon - you cant do anything about fuse (I dunno maybe that was fixed because someone posted fix some time ago but was it put into official release...). Or gun reticule for air-to-air doesn't really work and you miss all the time and so on.

Doesnt really mean anything; its a dead module.

My F-15E starts up, takes off, goes fast, radar targets the bad guys, drops bombs on the X, and lands like a boss.

Pretty good for a dead module. :smoke:

Good. Let me know when its finally finished. 1.5 years untouched with no relief in sight screams dead to me, but you know...I guess you can refer it to as a brain dead coma patient at this point, but hope is what keeps you alive?
