This was posted in the original discussion forum (which isn't public by the way), ask your own sources for confirmation...

There's no case for defamation honestly, it's mis-interpreting chat dialog, whether it's a language and translation barrier or not, you can't push defamation on someone for opinions of screenshots of a chat stream.

That being said, there's a lot of mis-reading and mis-interpreting going around, so to call it 1 or 2 specific individuals in a pool of thousands, isn't really fair.

But the lesson learned, is how mis-information can lead to bigger issues.

Hi Rainmaker, just a friendly request: I believe I saw someone mention you were employed by Razbam, are you willing to state if you are still employed by them? You are free to decline or ignore the question of course.

Edit: To clarify, whether you are or not I acknowledge you have as much right as anyone to comment here.

I can most certainly clarify that.  I was never, have never, been employed by Razbam for anything.  Never collected a penny from them, etc.  I have no problem answering that question.  I'm not sure where people got that assumption and if they would have asked, I would have gladly clarified.  That's nothing but someone's assumption based on nothing I have ever said.

None of it makes sense, that's the most frustrating part as a consumer/customer.

Razbams claim = We've not been paid has more merit, because ED have not denied there's a hold on payment.

ED's CEO claims = You've broken the terms and conditions between both parties, with him alluding to Intellectual Property rights being breached/broken  ( Is this enough to withold payment without further investigation? That will be in the small print that most us will never be privy to.

We can only wait and see what transpires over the coming weeks/months !

Well, the payment thing has been confirmed by the opposing party.  So it wasn't just a denial, that was confirmed.

No worries.  Thanks for raising the question if that's some kind of rumor going around.

Taking the issue public, and making accusations, that if found to be false would be the end of Nick Grey, and if proven to be true will be the end of Ron Zambrano.

There's no winners here.

I'm curious as to what the stakeholders of both Eagle Dynamics, and Razbam LLC think of this whole situation.

I dont believe it is true.  It is what it is, but history proves that Razbam isnt all that great a company. Then again, ED has had quite a...history...as well, but Ive seen them reformed over the years. They arent the same company as they were 12 years ago. Razbam hasnt changed at all.

I am sure it's an honest mistake as you are listed as an SME on their Discord with a special role, I know much like many of our SME's most are volunteers.

We have tried to confirm anything made public in those official statements, everything else is left to the management teams to work through now. Nothing else will be commented on by us.

hello, i have a doubt, i as a client how long should i wait?, if there are no indications of anything official only speculations, i think that regardless of the result someone from the two parties should already put a limit to the subject.

We understand how the dispute becoming public has damaged reputations and we are sorry for that. That however does not change the fact that until there is a resolution to the dispute we can not say any more.

Thank you

Public or not it would affect it anyway, or you believe that months without updates would go unnoticed by the community? This is a disrespectful comment.

@Rainmaker Mistake is mine, I saw a previous post in this thread speak of you as an SME for Razbam, I wasn't aware there was such a thing as a non-employee SME at the time.

It's not effecting everyone, so no need to get salty, it's nothing to do with the lack of updates. It's an AV issue

This is the "what if" scenario, you just don't happen to like it

Do you honestly believe any other company works differently?

And who is burning trust? ED one day thought "Oh hey, why don't we pick a fight with one of our contractors, that'll be great for business!"?

You think ED is ruining trust by securing their business so they wont fold and you lose all your modules because a contractor put them into bankruptcy?

What do you think happens if ED doesn't protect its IP?

On another note:

Tell me Blackeye, does your boss tell all its customers every time when things aren't going great? What do you think what happens when he does? People will go somewhere else

Now what if things simply looked negative but no problems occurred? He just lost customers over nothing, he ruined customer trust over Nothing!

Yes, there may be a point where a business has to inform its customers that there are 'issues' and on what level this impacts the service provided (if it does), but you don't screw up your business by torpedoeing trust everytime things aren't exactly going to plan

Now it could also be I see a somewhat bigger picture than you, since the company I worked for over the decades, has over time, had issues with Suppliers, IP theft, fraud and insolvency, none of that we planned for to happen

The reason we still exist as a healthy company, is because we kept our customers away from our 'internal' issues and dealt with them, some quick, some dragged on, but if any word gotten out on some of those matters to the general public, it could have killed us on the spot, since customers would have walked away and it would have diminished our solvency to the point we couldn't operate anymore

and just an FYI, I own the AV8B, so I also have a personal investment in the current issue and would like to see this end positively

If holding someone else’s money is keeping ED from folding, it’s already over

Calm down, you need to take a brake of the forum. I'm not asking him for an update of the situation, I know it very well.

I was talking about "dispute becoming public has damaged reputations" as if the community would never notice the lack of updates in all Razbam modules, is disrespectful to the community. Public or not it would be the same.

You misunderstand, not protecting your IP will eventually lead to your downfall

Keeping payment from a contractor that is abusing your IP is just a means of pressure to make them stop/reimburse you (and a warning to anyone else that thinks they can now try as well)

I seriously doubt ED is anywhere near folding... whomever came up with that random conspiracy theory obvs doesn't know anything about finances.

Many of my clients like to buy, sight unseen, from e-bay.

Often they’ll later find they've paid a little more than the current market suggests for an item.

A few have even asked if I will discount my repair price to compensate them for their purchasing loss . . .

I will ask them the following questions . . .

"Do you like to go clubbing?"

["Yes"]

"What did you spend last weekend?"

[$180.00]

"Did you get a number?"

[What?]

"Did you get a number?"

[If you mean a Girls number than, No]

"So, all you got for $180.00 was a hangover and no telephone number right?"

[Well, yes . . . what is your point?]

"My point is you’ve pissed away $180"

[Okay]

"Now you want me to compensate you for paying $50.00 more from e-bay than another might have paid . . . right?"

"Was not the loss of $180 an even larger loss?"

[No, not really, at least I got to listen to a good band and had a few drinks]

"Are you too going to ask the club for a refund?"

[Why would I do that?]

EXACTLY!!!

Listen, I too am a bit annoyed that some F-15E issues have not been addressed and certainly sad to see a drift with RAZBAM however, hammering EA will not move the issue any quicker.  Yes, $79.95 is not a small sum for any of us. I get it, but after all there might be bigger fish to fry out there.

I assure you that good things are yet to come . . .

Be patient . . .

Fly this beautiful bird . . .

It's not perfect but it's a whole lot of fun.

~Fin~

Who's this dork you might asking?

Just someone who likes to fly for the sake of Flying and the F-15E, with all its short-comings is still a lot more fun than the F-15C.
