Just double-checked it. There are white caps, but in my opinion the sea still seems calmer than it used to. Almost no waves at 25 kts, some waves at 80 knots. Ships are pitching quite a lot - far more than the waves. Here's some screenshots. One at 25 kts wind, one at 80 knots. In which section should I post my mission file? Weather Bugs?

Where's the wake in the first picture? I really, really, really hope this can be made accurate soon!

  • MB-339A/PAN = Improved coloured smokes (red and green)  Very Nice 👍!
    • @6S.Duke It looks like this improvement is only for Player Controlled Aircraft because the AI still has the old light pink and light green smoke....  ( Not even a First World Problem -- just saying! ) 😉.

Lol can attest that in force 6 and 12 winds, or what all things being equal would be sea state 5 and 9 respectively the sea looks nothing like that.  At 5 its getting rough, extensive foaming crests.  At 9 your talking 50 foot waves and more, your not seeing sh*t low down due to the spray/foam visability very limited.  Just to indicate how poor the new weather system is, you cannot have force 12 winds in clear skies, its just not happening!  Fundemental error and no thought put into the design at all.

I would suggest that the dev's speak to someone that has spent some time at sea as the current presentation is laughable.

Actually the OH-58 accidentally received an unfinished and partial update (which likely broke more than it fixed or added since it was not supposed to be included).  Polychop has already posted this in a few places.

hi, @NineLine, there's something up with D9 Dora. The 2nd gear supercharger used to switch between 3k-3.5k. That no longer happens until you get to 4.5-5k.  That's .. not right.

I thought A8 would be affected as well, but no problems with Anton.

no track. Fly any map, any mission, doesn't matter.

I did a forums search, and nothing of this is mentioned by polychop...so no notes as well by Eagle Dynamics. 

What I do know is I lost most of my key binds, and I could not re-bind CH DN on the Collective, and position lights on the overhead (and a few more). The MMS behaves erratic (does not stow), then it says stow complete but does not move to PREPT or FWD when commanded, and to boot....this was not an Early Access Module.

The patch for KW was released by mistake, it’s a WIP still. More info you can find in the corner about KW.

Not sure this one is actually fixed

Fixed: AI wingmen collisions during landing on the ship in some case

Watched my wingman dive straight into the water during F-14 CQ mission, unless fixed means running into anything but the player.
