I ordered it, but to be honest this is the first time i was actually thinking to not preorder (almost have everything).

Like many said already, you (ED) really need to start stepping up the game harder.

Start finishing stuff, solve long waiting issues and make the sim at whole more stable.

Next time i might be another customer that says no.

Double up on Afghanistan and git'er done. I'm new to this sim and spent a ton of cash over the last year, including all terrains, US and Soviet aircraft (excluding RB products) and all WWII content. I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm concerned about my investment. For the minimal savings, I'm holding off on this one until I see more improvement in Afghanistan. I understand EA isn't for everyone, but something just feels wrong here.

I wasn't particularly bothered about Afghanistan but this has piqued my interest. I will most likely hold off until there is at least a half decent release date set though.

Yep. This time, I will happily pay some extra bucks for the safety of knowing what I will get for the money. If at that time it still peaks my interest, that is.

Don't be so dramatic. Go complain to Steam. In the FAQ they mention that they are working with Steam, and that the initial pre-order price will be available at launch for Steam users. Just like last time. Short memory span? You even guessed it, and then you might even remember it's out of ED's hands.

Yeah, i would get it anyway. But, my computer has only 1 NVMe slot currently has 1tb drive.. Just too lazy to open up the comptuter - replace and move DCS to 4tb drive.

Wait for 2025 when southern irag (wetland & marhses)

If Vietnam map pre-order announcement, not only replace drive but upgrade entire computer! as well

Yeah, i would get it anyway. But, my computer has only 1 NVMe slot currently has 1tb drive.. Just too lazy to open up the comptuter - replace and move DCS to 4tb drive.

I'm waiting for 'Nam too! And Central Europe, and other cold war maps.
You don't have any PCI-E lanes to spare? I don't have any M.2 slots at all. That's how old my system is. But my main board has two RAID controllers, so I can expand with just swapping SSDs. While I do toy with getting a PCI-E M.2 controller. They are VERY cheap.

I'm going to pass on this one.  I was disappointed with Afghanistan, so much that I have uninstalled it until they have time to finish it properly.  Kola I have no issue with, and is one of my favourites but honestly, I'm expecting Iraq to be along the lines of Afghanistan in terms of quality, so I'll wait until I'm proven wrong.  To be honest the north of the country holds little interest.  The south, with the possibility of some proper Desert Storm/OP Granby missions (especially once the Tonka GR1 is here!) is a little more appealing, but I can wait.
