How come this has not been mentioned in any kind of newsletter or official post?

For what reason and for how long are the modules removed from sale from RU store?

Exactly. My fear is this will spread from RU store only to worldwide stores.

These products have been withdrawn from sale at the request of JSC Russian Helicopters, that is all we have to share for now, it only affects the Russian E-Shop for Mi and Ka helos.

It looks like a copyright claim from JSC. They make the helicopters affected.

They are still in the Store on the E-shop for all but Ru and Steam for all.

JSC is pulling a Glock on trademark infringment? I thought ED always had permission to recreate these aircraft, and in cases where they didn't there was a disclaimer on the loading screen.

We have given you all the info right now. It is only affecting the Russian E-shop, that is it, everything else is as it was.

I don't think I ever said "trademark infringement". What we have stated is all we have to share.

I never claimed that you said it. I inferred there was a trademark issue from the information available because that's typically the cause of cases like this.

will the Russian helicopters I've already purchased still work and get future updates and maintenance?

We have not stopped working on anything, as I said, the only thing that has happened is that they are not currently available on the Ru version of the E-shop for purchase. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure ED didn't ask for this situation. So it's something bigger. Perhaps convince the other party from Russia and ask for transparency there.

Let's give ED a break about this one, at least before they can share more. This is hardly similar to the RAZBAM dispute.
