Strasbourg and Colmar, which are both almost single digit kilometers west of the Rhine, are truly low hanging fruits here, for 1970s and 1980s french ops. Especially with Freibourg as an ALAT base already being on the scope of the map.

I hate nitpicking, because the map looks awesome and I can't wait to get my hands on it, but what about the massive landmass in the center of the Netherlands, which is supposed to be a lake (IJsselmeer)?

I'd say that would be pretty important for visual navigation, especially when Soesterberg gets added in phase 3.

 RSBN at East German bases... let's warm up L-39 in, at least I hope it's compatible with the L-39 like in Caucasus.

Have to wait until Phase 3 to get my nearest airport which housed L-39 back than.

Very pleased with the upcoming arrival of this map, which is a much-anticipated playground. The precise work and level of detail are remarkable.

But the absence of a French Air Force airfield in the French section is truly disconcerting. 

Okay, France left NATO command after the 1966 decision, but the country remained in NATO and, along with its allies, ensured defense against the USSR.

It's truly regrettable that the western part of the Rhine doesn't have a single French base; Colmar AB or Strasbourg AB have their place.

@Ugra : Please don't abandon the French community, just make it a single French base

Incredibly excited for this release and it all looks outstanding!

I would also love to see bases like Wittmund in the north of Germany as they are sorely missed at the moment but remain hopeful that they might still be added at some point.

Im truly dumbfounded by the fact that we won't get EKVL (Værløse), it is the only danish airbase well within the boundaries of phase 3 and phase 2.

PLEASE just give Denmark one airbase

Its geting scary - were taking up 200+ GB + 8 GB of video memory. i dont even know if my 3070TI will run this map with good performance.

As far as I can tell, all air bases in East Germany, both for the Soviet 16th Air Army and the NVA air force, will be completely covered. Very impressive!

I really hope Phase 3 will be expanded to encompass ALL of the Netherlands.

Pre-emoting the noise, if you haven’t already, get yourself at least a 2TB SSD.  In the context of the amount of money we spend on DCS, it’s modules and the hardware to control and run it, they’re not expensive.

Yeah, even the guys st SAMSUNG are looking forward to new DCS maps I guess.

Nice! Can't wait for phase 3 and our local airbase to be included KeeBee and some F16 to fly out from there, now if/when the F104 is released...

Goetsenhoven is that not a small grass strip? I go there regularly as we have friends that live there, it is not even as big as Sanicole that is not included, and Sanicole has an annual big airshow which I have been going to every year since 2012.

I live about half way between Kleine Brogel and Sanicole and am directly under the flight path where the F16s turn from downwind to base.

How where the implemented airports chosen? I wonder why smaller airports like Hockenheim or Walldorf have been implemented but Mannheim-Sandhofen a former military Airport was not?

Damage that Strasbourg, Metz, Colmar are not planned in phase 3.

We are a lot of frenchies here, it will be a great thing if we have one or two airbase to use with the Mirage F1. 

These 3 AB are historicaly Mirage F1 users...

i dont undestand that either. instead of  the two airports in Mannheim, Speyer and Heidelberg AAF they chose the smaller Airfields in the Area. i hope they add the bigger airfields later
