In trying to fly a generated mission in Germany (SEAD, F-16), I continually get stuck at 94% when trying to load the mission and have to force DCS to quit. 
 

Missions with no ground targets seem to work though.

I got an antiship mission to load with the Viper, but it ended after about 3 seconds with some message about a time limit that I didn't have time to read.  🤷‍♂️

My CWG ground attack mission by F-16CM progresses 95% ... (and stuck 😥 )

Yeah same here. Trying to generate a simple mission with 8 ground units and the progress stays stuck at 95%

Yeah, I didn't even see the bar move above 0%. It would generate a "escort bombers" or "dogfight" mission (all air-to-air), but when I clicked "Save and Fly" It locked up forever.

Marianas mission did much better.  Still poor performance generating a mission with 5 aircraft in it, but at least "Save and Fly" worked.

I removed all mods and am still stuck at 95% trying to create a QAG on CWG, I guess we've all been...  QAG'mired.

For those of you experiencing this, when you select say a SEAD mission on Cold War Germany or Ground attack, are you seeing the player icon and the target icon? I am thinking this might be related, like its placing these off the visible map.

@NineLine I have seen it happen with both having the icons present and having them not visible.

Hi, I like what this is trying to do, and I hope it will grow to its full potential. One of the things holding it back imo are the long loading bars for 'regenerating". For a quick instant action, this is.. suboptimal 😉

I tried generating a strike to a AAA defended artillery battery, but the targets never appeared. The AAA did however! (and tore me a new one, despite being at rookie level 😞 )

this problem occurs in both situations. When the target is outside the map I tried to open a new map, move the target in the far west and open germany again...in this case I can see both aircfat and target BUT it will stuck anyway at 94%

It may not be stuck. I just watched the QAG take 14 minutes to load a 10 unit mission on the Marianas Map. You might try it again and just let it sit for 10 - 20 minutes to see if it eventually loads. As for this new feature, it's garbage at this point. Anyone who's ever used the ME or the "create fast mission" generator will find this new feature frustrating and absurdly limited at best...

I agree, the loading times seem incredibly slow. Whilst not the very latest and greatest I have an NVMe drive stuck at 100% for ages whilst it loads. I even benchmarked the drive in case there was something wrong with it and it is at the top end of the benchmarks. I have another NVMe drive for the OS, DCS is the only thing on the one that gets busy.

As a quick action generator unfortunately it seems anything but in its current form.

I haven’t just let it sit, but FYI the stats in my sig are out of date. I now have a 285 Ultra, 5090 FE, and 128 GB RAM. DCS is on its own NVME.

While there is some optimizing to be done, you can expect longer load times depending on what you are changing. For example, if you change the map, especially to one of the newer, more demanding maps, the load time can be longer.

There are some issues with the Cold War map, as well larger, newer maps can be a little taxing. We will look into what we can do, but depending on what you are regenerating such as going to a different map, load times might be a little longer.

I think part of the issue is the QAG loads the last map at startup, so if you don’t want the same map as last time it takes a while to get to the point where you can change it. The old quick mission and mission editor you get to choose the map before it starts loading stuff.

Also in VR the loading bars don’t work so there is no update on progress. The bars work fine in 2D.
