Too much reflections iside the visor for VR

Not one of the posters above, but I wanted to report the same problem. The visor is unusable in VR now, the reflections should not be there at all - like they are not there in 2D, and other modules which use a visor.

Canopy Reflections setting does not seem to make a difference, the reflections in the visor are the same with setting 0 or max (1). I have got an HP Reverb headset.

See also this (not mine) post in the Wishlist section, which contains some screenshots, although it looks way worse in motion:

Can you both mention what headsets you use, and if you have tried adjusting the reflections option in graphics settings?

Yes that was the first thing I tried, and it doesn't change anything.
Besides, there shouldn't be ANY reflections at all, since that's not how visors work. The one(s) who made this, has obviously never worn sunglasses or a motorcycle helmet with dark visor or lowered sunshield.

I have a Varjo Aero, as shown in my signature.

Quest 3 but it should not be connected to this slider. We want realistic relections on canopy but don't want unrealistic relflections in the visor 🙂

Hopefully the latter! Visors are meant to *improve* visibility, not make it worse.

I hope removed,

I did test a fix prior to launch and it looked good to me in the pimax crystal but since launch we have had more feedback and it seems it still needs work, we have reported.

Not to kick the hornets nest here but I have been harassing Wags and Bignewy for this in VR for years and I love it.  The reflections work fine for me and do not seem to exaggerated.  I am running everything on high though with a PIMAX 8K.  LOVE the new visor.  Best one yet.

@Wags @BIGNEWY Are you guys planning on bringing the same function to the Hornet and Viper?

This exactly!   What I wouldn’t give for a visor in the Mi-8!!!!!!!!  The automatic exposure compensation of the pilot’s virtual eyes never adjusts to the outside lighting level in the Hip.  Probably because the pilot sits so far from windows compared to a fighter cockpit.   A visor would take care of that problem quickly!
