If you use LODs there shouldnt be much of a problem. But even if you dont, I would much rather have a great looking high poly model that makes my system sweat than something low poly.

I would look at the excellent GYS F-15 and 3GO Su-27. I am sure both teams tested for FPS extensively so they would be a good comparison of how many polys to use at what LOD settings etc.

Work is looking great! Thanks for the update.

Guys, guys!

You will have two chances: use these models or not...

Sorry, but it's not "wish show". We're living in 2010. We'll making some LODs, but not low poly models... The model making it takes long, so please don't cry along!

Thx!

Totally agree. I'm still quite suprised people still asking about low fps when seeing a new model. High poly count was a "problem" like 5 years ago, not by todays standards. IMO anyway :)

If your pc specs fall between the minimum and recommended requirements for FC2 then a high-poly model should run fine on your pc. And if it doesn't then like Reaper said don't use it.

maybe some people need to upgrade their PC and once they did I wonder if they'd still be wanting to play with low poly models ;)

Hi,

some updates from new stabilizer (taileron),

and for the fully effect dropped the 2th engines (its not finished: missing object, position's angels and animations helpers).

When i will create the stabilizer's hydraulic tube, connection elements, and cables (2 pieces) i'll shot new pic.

Regards,

Hey, you got a seam over your belly, I guess that you have been generated when you mirrored it. It is usually caused when centerline is doubled, just in case if you wanna know. By the way the your work is great and scrupulous.
