71st_Mastiff Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Hey guys, look at this: I saw on ED's twitter that they linked this: http://www.a-10c.com/en/downloads/mi...del_templates/ As you can see, a new domain: www.a-10c.com So I was thinking, If they wanna go on with this type of linking, they should have had registered the domain for their future product, so I went on: www.f-16.com www.f-15c.com etc. then this: www.f-18c.com. See for your self to which site it redirects! So what you say, next module F-18C? LOL got'em the web has risen! VincentLaw Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 (edited) I clicked on this thread expecting to see yet another duplicate airplane wish but was pleasantly surprised instead. I hope this means a big update to the AI Navy airplanes, some of them could use it. It would also be nice to see some AI F-18E/Fs. Considering the additions with Warthog, I'm sure we have a good chance of new planes regardless of what the next module is. I've actually seen a number of companies accidentally reveal their upcoming products like this in the past, but of course, we won't know for certain until they make an official announcement. revalence Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Yeah! Very nice work! Cheers for the F/A-18! I was hoping for the F-15C, but this works as well!
zamboni Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 (edited) How about some more sleuthing? I'm not going to pay for them to give me info but maybe some community sleuthing will help :). Since the a-10c.com and f-18c.com sites were recently registered, they don't seem to have come up in this search....yet. Did a search to see if there were any other domain names that julia at eagle.ru has registered and it came back with this list. The first 4 are easy to figure out: eagle.ru ka50.ru lockon.ru lock-on.ru But I am interested to see what website that starts with an S they registered in December Off the top of my head I cant think of the site they registered that starts wtih a T is either. The a-10c and f-18c sites should show up on that search some time....I have no idea how long it takes for them to update the info....When it updates it should give an idea if they registered any other website names. If they added a bunch of f-X.com sites they may be a ruse to keep ppl guessing :). Edited March 30, 2011 by zamboni
VincentLaw Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 so I just checked all of the ones you mentioned (and its ka50.ru not ka-50). it appears that their site makes all the letters into two underline spaces. This means that the 'S' site is an 11 letter word, and probably ends in '.ru' and the 'T' site is a 12 letter word probably ending in '.com' My guess is http://www.thebattlesim.com [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
zamboni Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 My guess is http://www.thebattlesim.com Yup, looks like that is it. superhornet.ru isn't registered so it cant be the other one :)
