Also I think I wouldn't be surprised if an F-15E had 4 A-10Cs strapped to it in order to carry more weapons.

 

After an engine-upgrade, that would be an interesting option for a B-52 maybe.

It's great to see a "game" developer that actually cares about supporting its product and customers (beyond initial product release). Not something that we see too often nowadays.

Only incentive rides....

 

Pfyeah good luck, I've seen maybe a dozen incentive rides on F-15Es, and most of them were to nonners. I think I've seen one engine guy, one APG, and one spec get rides.

 

Yeah guess who got the ride when we were in Guam? God damn CSA. And they put a Level 1 Over-G on it too.

You wish for a lot of things that require loads of work. I'd rather see the new CBU's in the next few patches. Not in 3 years... :)

 

Imho, the explosions are good enough already. The only thing that needs tweaking is the dmg on armoured veichles.

Ever since Lock On, the explosions/smoke and fire have always been FPS killers. Would it be so hard to implement some less detailed smoke shaders?

 

The LockOn Mod (Greb's explosion pack IIRC) dealt with that issue very nicely with cool explosive effects with minimal/zero FPS hit. Those in the know could attempt to 'reverse-engineer' a mod from that one.

 

Goodness knows if it'll work mind you - I'm no modder. Might be worth a looksee though.

Smoke can still look good without being a complete killer of FPS. And to be honest the look of smoke might add to the overall atmosphere, but its hardly that important. Options to tweak this would be welcome.

 

Anyway, sliding off topic now. Sorry.
